Kaiba was insane in the dark side of dimensions movie. Man literally invented technology that could counter magic, and at the end of the movie he literally breaches the actual Egyptian afterlife, so that he and atem can keep dueling...
TGS Anime did a duel analysis of the DSOD Yugi/Kaiba duel and based on all the cards played, and how they played them the conclusion was that Kaiba would have lost. Check out his channel for the video and other duel analysis of anime duels.

Kaiba smirked during his duel with Yugi because it took everything up to that point in time for him to fully realise that it wasn't the Pharoah that was the King of Games, but really Yugi Muto (the one he thought less of). He was finally able to come to terms that he had never been number one, but maybe number 3 at best, he accepted that Yugi truly is a skilled duelist and that he could let his struggle go with the Pharoah. He did still view the Pharoah as his rival though, and he knew the Pharoah truly had some magical capabilities, which is why he sacrificed himself during the final duel so that Yugi could call upon the Pharoah for help. It would be awesome to see some classic duels like Joey vs Bonz or even Joey vs Bandit Keith.
Look I've recently found you guys and all I can say is that my studying is suffering ebcause I just can't stop wtaching yooo... Let's go! I'm not very informed about modern Yu-Gi-Oh (I've dropped out at GX, played a bit since then but never put the effort to understand meta. Not to mention everything since XyZ summons is a mystery to me) but I love watching you guys play. Newer,older decks whatever it's great. Wanted to jump in and recomend Pegasus vs Bakura duel since we never really got to see it in the anime when the eye got stolen. Pegasus vs Marik would also be cool...a battle of the bad guys sort of. And all I'll sya is that Pegasus toon deck needs to be tuned up yo... I remember playing a pretty consistent toon deck so...there's no way my dear Pegasus won't have a similar one. :P xD Keep them vids coming yo!

Noah vs. Seto Kaiba/Yugi, or Gozaburo vs. Seto Kaiba. With the Noah duel if Seto loses game one or two, or if you happen to go double or nothing you should have Yugi use Kaiba's three Blue Eyes and whatever other cards he mixed against Noah.
