Hey guys, sorry for pinning this comment on all videos but I want to give you an update on the channel. I've been slowly adding a show archive to the videos including a full transcript added as sub titles and a full track listing (with links to TH-cam videos for each track). Pilkipedia archive link has been added as well and I've been having fun illustrating some of KP's best bits, I'm adding these to a shop incase anyone is interested: www.man-moth.com/ It's taking me a while to update the archives, especially as I don't work Mondays so please bear with me as I chip away at it. Lots of love, Man Moth.
It will never cease to crack me up that some person who knows nothing of Ricky, Steve or Karl was listening to this thinking "This should not be on the radio"
This episode has some of the most fever-pitch moments of tension. So many really icy and angry interactions. It's also got some of the best song transitions - where a mood-appropriate song fades in over Karl moaning, or going into a rage. A real pearler.
We can't say for sure what happened during the songs, but I feel Ricky may have felt justified in giving Karl shit for the whole censored skit fiasco. He wasn't any worse than usual here; compare this to "Hamburgler", where he was a total pill from start to end. It really seemed like Karl was in a major mood that day, the first one to be antagonistic and sticking with this funk the whole rest of the show. But it may have been the last straw for Ricky after weeks on end of Karl's blissful ignorance driving him crazy.
To be fair he was fine with his life before he met them, had he literally broken ties with them he'd have carried on with his regular job and regular life, so in essence he didn't have much to lose in his view!
Joey Lock I guess that's why Ricky said at some point he couldn't believe they found this man that remains untouched by fame. Another reason for me as a fan, why I never get sick of hearing talk.
He seems like he genuinely does put happiness first and that’s commendable. Obviously he’s done a lot better not waking away, but if he did it would be to do what makes him happy and that is commendable
@@GooglyEyedJoe You're right, he DIDN'T have much to lose; from the sounds of it he loved a very simple and plain life, working in his little booth, editing audio, going home and going to sleep. Wow that dream Karl's mum had... Weirdly came true in a way... Karl has definitely saved some lives... Helped my mental health at least
LOL, he even tells the listeners they ought not to listen to the show!

I feel like Ricky is a human laugh track. Pisses himself laughing at just about anything
I "ATE 'IM!
"What are you going to Hastings for? They having another battle?"
Wow I forgot about this one. Very tense episode!! And I don’t think it was just banter this time.
Karl was definitely annoyed and Ricky just kept pushing and pushing. Even Steve stuck up for Karl at one point!
Made for extremely entertaining listening 😂 I did feel sorry for Karl at some points though.
Man Moth your titles are great, however this one should have been called 'Fefth' LOL. Thanks for these mate.
I had the misfortune of living in Manchester for a bit.. Can I just say the banter in the pubs there is like this but stranger. I miss Manchester.
