I love in modern Sonic games how the final boss theme is always an upbeat, triumphant piece. It's not somber and depressing like other games, and it fits the tone of the series perfectly.
This is why I love Sonic...for the music. Particularly this 1, it gets that feeling of hope and "Don't Give-Up, You're Almost There!" while still reminding you that you're in danger.
Don't thank Sega, thank Sonic Team and Yuji Naka, Sega just owns the thing, they market it and are generally a bad company because of how they push the employees.

George Miles EA have made a few good games, but then they just milk it over and over again, like Need for Speed and Battlefield, with each game decreasing in quality, this is one reason why EA is a bad or maybe even the worst game company. If you are a PC gaming, Valve is definitely the best, not only because of them making phenomenal PC games, but just their company in general, the things they do, the people who work there, the rules in the workplace; Everything Valve does is done right. I wouldn't call them betrayals. Eggman had a little control over those beings for a short while, but he ultimately lost control because they had way too much power for him to handle. Chaos, Solaris, Final Hazard, etc. It wasn't so much betrayal as it was him getting burned because he was playing with fire.

On my Opinion, this is the best ever Song created. It's a Masterpiece of song, the lilyrics are incredible, the message is perfect, and makes you feel like you are facing your final battle with pure courage and determination.
***** Shaodw the hedgehog had some pretty memorable soundtracks. while most of the main levels didn't do it much with a few exceptions, All of me, Never turn back, All Hail shadow and of course some of the boss themes were actually really appealing to me not to mention digital circuit (I believe that is the name of the stage, but it had a really kickass soundtrack that I enjoyed alot)

This orchestra is actually fitting to the main story of the game itself... At first, with the bass and whatnot, you are in a final battle that depicts life and death; people are counting on YOU (the player) to save the many people of that world from total hopelessness and death. It is very much like your last boss battle ever. (Sorry. Had to let it out) :)
Played the game for the first time recently, the grind to 120 light tokens was annoying but this finale really made it worth it. Epic seems like an apropriate word to describe it. For once really felt like a team effort with an NPC and a great soundtrack alongside it.

Like, they're fully functional and there's nothing wrong with them, but I just feel like they break the pace of the fast-paced day stages a bit much. A game consisting entirely of Night stages, as its own IP, or at least a Knuckles spin-off or something would've been a pretty nice idea to try.
i played this game when i was like 6 LOVED IT but when me a my brothers got to this part DEEEEEAR GAIA i died over and over just to keep listening i had game soundtracks and sonic soundtracks that i just ADORED but this games music above all of it this THEME made me see what it truly means to love a soundtrack God bless this music and God bless this game dont care what anyone says(and heroes was awesome too loved it,and overall 06 probably has the best soundtrack as a whole)
This music is so friggin' awesome. It starts out a little small, probably because it's transitioning from the really dark thing of Eggman's machine... then slowly but definitely explodes into a bright and intense song of victory and heroism!

when i was 5 years old i watched my older brother die over and over on this boss, but it was so fun to be apart of, and this song made it so much better. the amount of screaming from us both when he beat it, this song is so motivational and nostalgic
I really like this game. It's so so much emotion, something that games like Generations, Colors, and Heroes lacked. The bond between Chip and Sonic is so great. I love their friendly bond. I will always remember this as the game that saved the franchise because it did.
Actually no His World's orchestral version is my favourite orchestral Sonic song. Reach For The Stars' orchestral version being my second favourite and this being my third favourite.

I praise this song and game like a god. Seriously, this is too epic for me to handle. It's been my fav sonic song ever since I heard it.
I love how this is basically a reference to Solaris phase 2 by having both Dark Gaia phase 2 and Solaris phase 2 use the orchestra version of the main theme.

when i was 5 years old i watched my older brother die over and over on this boss, but it was so fun to be apart of, and this song made it so much better. the amount of screaming from us both when he beat it, this song is so motivational and nostalgic

I really like this game. It's so so much emotion, something that games like Generations, Colors, and Heroes lacked. The bond between Chip and Sonic is so great. I love their friendly bond. I will always remember this as the game that saved the franchise because it did.

Epic song. I don't care how bad sonic games get I played each and every one sonic is my childhood. I grew up with him and I won't let him die out if I can help it. If that plumber in work boots can last this long, sonic can too! He just needs the right game to get him back on track
