Try out this Janmashtami special Panjiri which is a super easy, instant sweet distributed to the devotees in North Indian temples during Janmashtami. This wonderful sweet takes just 5 minutes and can be had during fasts too. With amazing ingredients this unique sweet is a must for your Janmashtami celebration.
Ingredients :
1 tsp ghee
1 cup coriander seed
2 tbsp ghee
20 almonds
20 cashews
¼ cup melon seeds
1 cup makhana {or} foxnuts
1 cup dry grated coconut
2 tbsp raisins
½ tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp ginger powder
½ cup powdered mishri {or} powdered sugar
Garnish it with some chopped Pistachios and dried rose petals
