I've been building edh decks for all ravnica guilds. The commanders are all legendary creatures from ravnica. When i started to look for the golgari commander, jarad was love at first sight. He is a beast.
@@thefinalsins I really like older legends. You have to make a set up before casting them. Like building up graveyard, set up damage for rakdos, have big creatures on the field to draw when zegana comes in. Some commanders today do everything
@@gabrielcoelho2471 Couldn’t agree more! Also the commanders click exactly with the flavour of their guilds, which Wizards actually took the time to flesh out over multiple sets. I mean rather than speed hopping between planes leaving cardboard characters with zero depth.
It's cool that even if you couldn't remove the Platinum Empyrion, your commander was big enough to one-shot them with commander damage thanks to the unblockable
on god i swear some players are so terrified of mulliganing they'd rather keep the worst 7 you've ever seen that keeps them out of the game for 8 turns than actually look for something better
Any sympathy I might've had for Bryce for keeping that hand (which was already not much due to Eye of Ugin) had immediately evaporated with those last two turns.
Finally ordered myself a mistform daddy. I have most of the cards and many swords so he’s gonna be my first voltron deck. Really loved watching your deck every year since I first saw it 3-4 years back. Just like with zedruu, thanks for inspiring me to make a sick deck that no one plays.
Now thats a fun game, everyone got to do something even if Bryce had to wait forever to finally start. I feel like this game was well played and got see some sick powerhouse moves around the board.
Yeah... cards like these are the reason why I shy away from self-mill decks. All it takes is one mass graveyard removal piece to set the player back big time.
That Jarad deck is very similar to my Karador deck, but that's kinda a given because graveyard themed decks just have those cards that go in all of them
Looking to pick up those alter sleeves using your affiliate link but I couldn't find them on the website. Any chance you could add them to your favorites or provide a link? Thanks!
I got a Jarad deck as well. And it somehow always fails to deliver. On the other hand, my Mimeoplasm, Sefris and Kathril decks (all yard centred) always pack a punch and manage to fill up the yard quickly. Curse of Jarad I guess.
Not with the relic in play. If I had cast Jarad relic would get popped in response and my stickfingers and splinterfright would die to state based. I needed remove the dogs from Cous' board or I'd die next combat and I needed the mana to slip the ghoultree through Bryce's field with the rogue's passage to get him within range for a gravetroll or ghoultree to be flung with a Jarad. If I had another turn I'd try for a Jarad kill with trampling a splinterfright into Cous and then casting Jarad and flinging troll+ghoultree.
He explained in a video some times ago. Basically he likes it and people usually target orvar first because they fear and unfair combo deck. Makes sense
If i remember correctly, he likes Mistform more because Orvar's copy ability leans itself into a more spellslinger degenerate kind of build, which diluted what he's doing with Mistform. Too many changes to the core of the deck for him. Plus the political reasoning of Orvar being scarier (for the very reason I mentioned).
Two reasons: 1. Orvar paints a much bigger target on his chest; 2. Orvar often tempts the player into building around his combos, rather than a pure tribal theme. He tried to mix both once when building Orvar, and let's just say that build kinda sucked at both jobs.

Jarad was my first legend and I’ve waited actual years for somebody to make a commander video with him. So from the bottom of my heart I thank you.
There's numerous videos with him on this channel. they'll be old however

Whenever I see old(er) legends like Jarad, I click.

Halfway through I felt bad for Bryce but wow that was a crazy last turn, just shows how explosive Animar can be
can't ever think animar is out of the game.
Jarad was my first ever commander deck. He’s so lethal on a budget and just embodies what golgari wants to be doing. Glad to see him get some love
Jarad is so great he is often a win con in my other decks that include those colours. Sac a 10/10 Sarevok with giant's heritage? Sure why not.
It's cool that even if you couldn't remove the Platinum Empyrion, your commander was big enough to one-shot them with commander damage thanks to the unblockable
If Bryce had kept an actual Animar hand he might have won. Why they kept an opening hand with a mountain and non mana producing land is beyond me.

Totly agree, I don't in understand what the heck he was thinking with his hand. He was dead for so many turns

I've been waiting for a Jinnie Fay deck to show up. She looks so fun.
It blows my mind how quickly ya'll churn out content, and it's always great to boot.
That was a great show of what your Mistform deck can do, well done!
My man! I love your decks, I wish you had the other list out, hope the other vids get there list put in as well

Here's the problem: I see a Muddstah vid, I like; I see a Mistform vid, I like; I can't double like your Mistform vids, Muddstah!
I really like the alter on Couz's solemn, so fancy.

So many players dont play graveyard hate.
Where do you get those sleeves that are on the front of Andrew's cards?
ive never played golgari but DAM mark's deck was awesome! so much usage from the graveyard. good job mark!!!!
ok i cannot get enough of marks deck!!!! holy shiiiit it looks AWESOME AF.
Couz's Jinnie Fay deck seems a bit interesting and weird to me. I was definitely not expecting to see a Cloudpiercer and Solemn Simalacrum in his deck
Whatever happened to your trostani deck. It was definitely one of my favorites because it was just so interesting
He's considering adding red and turning it into Ghired.
@@DarkEinherjar I've actually just finished sleeving up the first iteration of Ghired!
@@MTGMuddstah hmmm I better see seance again it was one of my favorite cards in it

Regarding your Sleeves Muddstah: Where can I get those? Those Borders are sick as heck man
Where can I get that sick playmat Andrew was using?
Awww... missed opportunity to edit in the "WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF" when you said "let more dogs out"
what're the blue boarders on your deck? (Andrew) super interested!!

YOU FOUND JARAD. THANKS
Haha, I was so happy when Mark pulled it out! I knew you'd be happy.
@@MTGMuddstah I was thanks bub
Animar, Soul of Mana Starvation
Why does price have so many colorless lands in a 3 color deck?
Love the content
Mark had lethal on the board all he had to do was play Jared

Have been wondering for a bit but how come you choose to run Mistform over Orvar as your commander?

the mat Couz uses is neat.
“Ah co light”
slightly sad Couz Couz isnt playing Llama tribal
Amazing game. GG!!
Poor Bryce....
Wha, no decklist?
Waiting on them
GOOD BOIS
Nice
Was really rooting for Jinny.
why didnt bryce at least spin the top befkre he used it to draw. could have gotten a land and played animar.
I'm kinda tired of seeing animar
I am midway through the vid, and I can't stand those top plays. Why?! It hurts my soul...
That was such a poor way to play animar
The correct way to watch this channel is at 1.5 speed. Try it.
how not to play aggro
Why the hell did you target Mark and not Bryce.... Jfc zero threat assessment. Big creatures aren't as good as a fucking combo deck with Animar.
Nice sleeves you got there @MTG Muddstah.
