Another thing you could do to automate the infuser is make sure the ME interface is attached to a chest. Then, using item piping of your choice, insert the items into the infuser and configure the sides so one side is input, another side is output, and another side is extra. Finally, attach an import bus to the result output side of the infuser.
This helps to encode multiple patterns for the metallurgic infuser, since not all its recipes use redstone as its extra item converted to fluid. Amazing video, dude!
@@pauldelol6064 That is correct. I've used methods like this before to automate Magma Crucible/Fluid Transposer combos from Thermal Expansion in the past. Your way is another way to do this, and is in fact better if you want to have a single Infuser for all of the different recipes.
I know this is an old video, but a few things to note: Inside the machines there is an "Auto Sort" button on the left (Looks like an S), I recommend turning that on, it'll automatically split the input across all the lines on top. This makes production a TON quicker. The only downside being the lack of ability to use that machine for multiple different crafts at once, and higher power consumption I believe. There is NO point to pipe the Redstone, Carbon or Diamond directly into the infuser. Put them in an enricher first. This'll turn it into an "Enriched" version, which makes it 8x more effective. Allowing you to turn 1 diamond into the usability of 8, and similarly with the others.
coal is just waste when you get automated miners, but for redstone/obsidian/diamonds yes enrich them frist and put the enriched ore in (make a crafting order card in the interface pushing it in)
Thank you! I've watched so many tutorials about automating Mekanism, but you were the first to mention that input for extra has to be yellow. Learned a lot about this mod from you :)
Is there a way to do this all through the me interface? I’m looking to setup a generic infuser that can do enriched alloy, circuits, refined obsidian, etc that require a variety of dusts, not just redstone.
Actually, you could do it with the method described in the pinned comment. It adds a little complexity, but it would allow you to automate many different recipes from one infuser.
Really nice and simple tutorial. One thing I want to ask, how would I make it so I only insert a specific amount of redstone in the infuser? For example, I don't want to insert redstone until the bar is full and then it has a stack in it, but let's say keep the redstone at 1000mb all the time. I have been searching for a solution for this forever, and as I play a smaller modpack I don't have many other options for cables ect. If there is a way, I would really appreciate it. (I tried doing this with the level emitter but it doesn't seem to be working...) Thanks!

Does anyone know if either method applies to 1.18 AE2?
@@storanystormy3512 Yes, they do.

thank you so much this video has helped a few times
this is one of the things a lot of content creators don't go over I'm guilty of it myself
really good video thx very much.
Ok thats a really usefull tutorial. But can you make another video about how to automate other mekanism stuff like the other alloys? Would be awesome
But what if i want to have multiple recipes for one infuser, surely there must be a way to pipe in the redstone aswell via the interface
Wow, how did you get the 3D ME drive model?
Thanks for the video. What mod pack are you using?
ATM6
thank you so much
I know this is very out of date, but how do you do the items that require diamond and obsidian?
nice explayned thx
thanks
:)

Use integrated dynamics instead
Is it possible to make one infuser make every recipe?
Yes, but it would be more complicated to set up. This system is just easier IMO
What modpack are you playing?
It's actually in the description. It's the All The Mods 6 pack from CurseForge.
@@minecraftphenom0892 Oh thank you so much for telling me that and responding :D
@@minecraftphenom0892 Fuck yeah dude. Same here. Bout to watch this myself
Thanks a ton!
what mod is this? ty for respond.
It's actually two mods. The mod Mekanism and the mod Applied Energistics 2 for Minecraft version 1.16.
