He had a drum corps Competition in Rhode Island. And I had just come out of a very devastating break up a month or so prior. And he invited me to just get away from it all. And well we have been together for 26 years this year. Married 15
It may sound strange or odd but I have found myself playing Emmy's youtube videos on my bedroom television at night as I go to sleep. I keep the volume low enough so that I can just hear her calming, soothing voice. Its really remarkable to be honest and I would like to think that subconsciously I am retaining all of the wonderfully interesting things and knowledge that she shares with the world. An excellent flavored coffee, preferably black, is Texas Pecan. I myself can’t drink coffee (heart problems) but I’ve sipped a bit here and there at times and Texas pecan is incredible. I can literally just sit and sniff that stuff forever since smelling coffee is the main way I get to enjoy it.
Maybe not as much fun, but you can use a Bamix/immersion blender to foam non fat milk. We used to sometimes sprinkle jello powder in the foam, let it set a bit for a colorful fat free snack/dessert.
We used cold skim milk with a milkshake maker (not a blender) for our babyccinos and foam art at a cafe I once worked at! It’s super quick and if you have leftover milk in the cup you just place it back into the fridge and can whip it up again later.
Your first latte art actually resembled a very content Ice Bear from We Bare Bears. I'm so happy for you your first attempt actually delivered and I almost shouted "IT WORKED....IT WORKED" with you if it hadn't been from my neighbors having a small kiddo sleeping right next to my bedroom. Emmy I would really like to see you do a video on rose hips. My grandmother recently taught me that roses produce fruit called rose hips and that they’re edible. Most people make teas and such from rose hips, but there are also recipes for sauces, jellies, and jams floating around out there. This is the time of year where rose hips are ready for harvest in most places. I’d be really thrilled to see you harvest some and prepare them!
If you put a little (just the tip of a tea spoon) of xanthan gum in your milk it will hold the froth much better. I froth warm milk with a stick blender to achieve the same effect. great channel.
You can also use it to decorate chocolate milk ... A friend of mine used something like this in her son's birthday party and it was an absolute hit! Just saying.
