Funny, cause I actually really dislike that. MK11 really avoided the awkward "posing with a corpse" at the end of the fight, and I was really disappointed that they brought it back. The super slow-down to freeze-frame in MK11 looked so much better...
Them posing with a corpse is very limiting, though. Just about every fatality is constrained to "and now the body needs to be on the ground, for the camera to sit at the same distance for EVERY. SINGLE. CHARACTER. to hit their pose in the back while the corpse itself is front and center". No differing angles or camera movement, no freedom for the character to move in a way that shows their personality off more, etc., unless you deliberately decide to not perform a fatality instead. Only _then_ does the victory screen do the right thing and focus on the winners. If they can't vary the fatality victory screen that way, an option to remove the kameo would help. @@SenseiRaisen No sorry i should have specified, i know the cross promotion DID happen, but if i remember correctly he didn’t actually lose his job or get fired for it, idk where i read the details on this all but if i find it ill let you know!
Holy shit, this is all awesome. Especially the fighting style of Smoke. It makes me appreciate the actors/actresses who do this kind of work even more. Thanks for your work on this awesome game!
The game evolved a lot and Noah did some amazing job at motion capturing these characters
omg, I I have seen him on this channel so many times and didnt recognize him till now, bloody hell.
This is amazing knowing he was apart of bringing these characters to life
It’s amazing how he did so much effort into the characters fighting style, he even played as Kenshi👏
I'm truly glad to see Noah doing the mo-cap and having his likeness in MK1
Thank you sir for giving us the most clean, crispy, swagy moves for this beautifull game.Your are a elder god.
My god, how much is he getting paid? He had tons of inputs on the characters' move. He's almost half the reason why the combos in the game look beautiful.
I had no idea he was Kenshi! I absolutely love Kenshi in this game, he’s much favorite character! So cool to see him the man behind the motion capture. Absolutely amazing work
All of them did an amazing job with this game. The animators, actors, graphic designers, stage designers and so on. This game is such a piece of art!
It feels so good to know that the guy who made Kenshi literally loves Zatoichi. That's lovely.
As Indonesian, I'm so proud that Smoke using Pencak Silat 👍🇮🇩
I love the Raid and Smoke. Happy to know there is a connection there!
It's crazy how much he worked on in this game!! Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Scorpion, Smoke, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Reptile and Kenshi, all done (mostly) by him, that is insane lol
Also, did anyone else feel happy hearing that Carlos Pesina went hands-on with some of the mocap for Scorpion and Sub? He's been around doing mocap for MK since the very beginning, made me very happy to hear that Mokap still throws the old ball-suit on every now and then lol
Noah is just so handsome and talented. I was so happy to see him play Kenshi. ❤
He's so passionate about his work and he loves what he do and that's what's amazing about Noah. But man really I wanted to hear his comments about female actors who did the other female characters, they also did an amazing job with choreography and acting. MK1 is just a masterpiece.
Damm Noah is so fcking cool. Learning about all of that behind the acene is fascinating to me , for real
I said this in the last video. But Noah seriously one of the best. I love his stuff along with Gemma. I wonder if he got a hat to throw around too as Kung Lao lol
i literally wanna cry man, congratulations Noah, you are the living legend now!
and i cant be more prouder that you brought pencak silat to mortal kombat, behalf of indonesian we thank you Noah!!
Now we need to see Jemma explaining her characters.
Omg i knew I recognized him but I didn’t know where that is so awesome my god good on you mate
Bruh…doing martial arts motion capture for a video game that’s older than you is a whole new level of making it! Good damn job Noah!
When we were writing the Audio Description for the fight scenes in story mode, we all had to reference a guide to martial arts strikes. There is such intricate fight choreography, with so many different styles! I definitely learned a lot, and of course I wish I had infinite time to break down all the cool details in the movements like you've done here. What a fun breakdown, thank you!
I knew I recognized the face of Kenshi while playing through the story. I had to look it up after I beat the story. My mouth fell open. I couldn't believe it was our boy Noah!!! So cool he got to work with the MK crew for one of my favorite characters in the series.
Edit: OHHHHH SHIT!!! He did Reptile as well! That's my favorite character in the series!
Edit 2: OK this is the last edit. This man just went to town in this game. So awesome and hope Noah gets more involved in the fighting game scene.
daaamn kenshi is so good badass character and noah is such a sweetheart I LOVE THEM
Congrats Noah, you definitely deserved to be apart of the game and you really fit as kenshi
I'm so proud of this guy! Seeing his work and him on TH-cam and seeing him get to work in this game is a treat. He deserves it.
i was right... smoke was using "pencak silat" and also he using weapon called "karambit" that literally from indonesia, and he said itself.. that move, u can see it it's like seeing the raid.. AND YEAH! he said he trained a little by cecep or "cecep arif rahman" the guy who using karambit also in the raid.. what a coincidence XD
Omg it is you Noah! So awesome your the kenshi model!! Soooo epic!!!!
When I first played it I was like kenshi looking familiar. Then I remember he looks just like Noah lol.
True, I hadn't realized if they were actually the same. ( Kenshi ) good job Noah
Re: finding a style for Reptile, I'm surprised Noah didn't get to look at prior appearances of the character throughout the franchise for reference. The PS2 era saw Reptile most associated with Hung Gar style kung fu, and the fictional Crab style of karate (adapted from the film "Heroes of the East", if I recall correctly).
YOOOOO I never realized it was Noah but he did an amazing job working as Kenshi 🎉🎉🎉😮😮
Such a solid choice to mocap all these characters, I couldn't be happier that he did it!
Noah, I'm proud of you brother, you've been shinning more and more and utilizing your skills which you've honed over the years. I was glad to find out you did the work for so many of my fave MK characters. Mainly Scorpion, Raiden and Liu Kang. Keep it up man.
Noah is a legend. He did an amazing job in MK1 👍
I appreciate you 🫶🏼🐉
Totally valid for insisting that...THAT gesture...is "not a blocking position".
His take on Liu Kang is awesome!
I just finished season 2 mk1 and knowing u were the guy for the choreography.. kudos! Epic!
even noah knows about megan fox performance lmao
Nice editing!

*_"Block THIS!!"_*
I knew kenshi look familiar. Never thought Noa did his mocap
Yoo the fact Noah get trained by Cecep Arif Rahman really explained why I kinda familiar with smoke's fighting style especially with his karambit. You can really see a bit the raid influence in his movements.
I KNEW KENSHI LOOKED FAMILIAR, BUT HE DID MO-CAPS FOR 8???? Love this for him
This guy is so cool what the HELL 🤯
Omg he was choreographing half the cast with unique moves that’s CRAZY
(Lol at the Megan Fox bit)

@@NoahFleder like how does someone know their craft so well they can do it 6+ time’s differently that’s WILD
@@KidKinobi well it’s kinda like acting, a good actor knows how to say “hey what’s up man” 10 different ways. One happy, one sad, one sarcastic, one maybe with a hidden motive behind the tone. Language and movement should be layered and show different intentions after awhile. 🙏🏼 just my approach at the martial arts and the many ways to express myself 🫶🏼
@@NoahFleder incredibly well said 🔥
You’re doing great work!
Noah, i am PROUD of you! First time i saw Kenshi in a trailer i tought 'i know this guy...' and it was you! Not only the spirit of Kenshi, but the spirit of freaking God of THUNDER, FIRE aaaand TIME, Liu Kang, and other 6 characters!! That's the word: PROUD. We are Proud of you! Big hug from Brazil!
I main most of the other characters that Noah did mocap for, like Repitle and Lui Kang, so that shows his creativity in choreography. They should have listen to his input with Scorpion and Sub Zero they would have been way better to play.
You have no idea what his input for those characters is. Just because the input we see for the other characters is good, doesn't mean the rest of it is.
@@mechanomics2649
Bro Sub and Scorp are trash in this game. I think Noah would have been able to make their game more interesting if he got to put his own spin on their move set
@@seanmanley8298 Yea, now that I watched this I realized why Scorpion feels so.. stiff in this game, compared to MK11 and even MKX. I know he's more chill than in previous games, but the movements just don't have that impact. I think Sub-Zero feels good to play though, bro uses ice but got no chill lmao.
@@seanmanley8298 The animations have little to do with the balance of the game, that's all on the frame data the developers gave him. Sub was very strong in the beta and Scorp with the right kameo is rated higher then smoke in a lot of tier lists.
Noah is in love with Carlos’s work, they’re both so talented!
The best channel and the best Kenshi, you guys are so amazing
The animation in MK1 is sooo much better than the previous games.
I love that winning pose of smoke when he perform a brutality it's so sexy
Been waiting for this interview!
Noah is the reason smoke has a karambit. so sick
is so nice to hear behind the scene thanks Noah
Fucking based Noah for coming up with the idea for Smoke's karambit and fighting style. Good shit.
I remember the first time I watched him and Gemma reacting to MK and Batman. Now, his face and moves are in the game. That’s insane!
I just want a replica of Noahs Kenshi sword. I can tell its really light cause there is no way someone can twirl a real one that fast! Neeeed.
Noah did such an amazing job
Love that his talent finally got recognized and get to be apart of the gaming world very proud of him now we have a very good artist for our games and he genuinely love doing it keep it up noah
It's awesome that he's getting the attention that long over due
it was so cool watching Noah explain the moves while acting them out at the same time. hilarious af too. please do more of these. haha
