Salaam. Great, I'm glad to see he's touching on the Christian view that Jesus did not die on the Christ. The Gospel of Barnabus, while delving in substitution and its injustice, still holds the view that Jesus did not die on the Cross. There is still yet another Christian view in Gnosticism that what was seen on the Cross was an illusion, and that no one died. Finally the 3rd View in Christian Gnosticism is that Jesus was taken up above before he died, and was saved from death - as we are all.

I have listened to Sheikh Ahmed Deedat videos on the crucifixion of Isa(PBUH), but SHeikh Imran's explanation is the most acceptable for me. It also explains why there are people who woke up after was pronounced dead by doctors.
So he is not crucified because he is not killed.
He is not resurrected as how Christians believed, but his soul was returned to his body in the cave.
    But Allah knows best.

Trust me on this one. I have spent years studying both.

One group, the Jacobites, said, 'Allah remained with us as long as He willed and then ascended to Heaven.' Another group, the Nestorians, said, 'The son of Allah was with us as long as he willed and Allah took him to Heaven.' Another group, the Muslims, said, 'The servant and Messenger of Allah remained with us as long as Allah willed, and Allah then took him to Him.

salaamu alaykum sheikh and muslim family: i enjoy the lectures very much and the political views...I wanted to comment on the analogy of the symbolism of the dajjal living in the earth for 40yrs. The sheikh mentions that the yrs between the construction of the kaba and aqsa are 40yrs which is correct but the architect of aqsa was Yacub a.s not Sulayman a.s. The 40yrs is the true difference between grandfather and grandson (ibrahim & yacub a.s)

continued> Aqsa was inherited by Sulayman a.s. and raised in Grandeur by his control of the jinn who worked and dove the ocean for him, by the command of allah. So the analogy doesn't work with 40yrs being symbolised to be more in number of days for Ibrahim a.s to Sulayman a.s are far greater than 40yrs time span...but between Ibrahim & Yacub a.s the 40 yrs is correct between Ibrahim- Issac-Yacub alayhi wa salaat wa salaam alaykum

A very long time ago i must say.. because tamim al-dari is a human beings, but he and his crews can see the dajjal. If tamim al-dari and his crew can see the dajjal, means, the dajjal is already in the human space and right? or am i wrong? can anybody give me an answer. Thank you :)

Maybe his veil was removed just for that one time so he could witness it..but Allah knows best.

He then asked, 'Who among you will volunteer for his appearance to be transformed into mine, and be killed in my place. Whoever volunteers for that, he will be with me (in Paradise).' One of the youngest ones among them volunteered, but Jesus asked him to sit down. Jesus asked again for a volunteer, and the same young man volunteered and Jesus asked him to sit down again.

Crusified according to the context of the Jews motives is a smear campaign.. they wished to prove he wasn't messiah. They wished to kill him. They did not. They wished to display him and smear his image. They didn't. But Allah made it appear so. Allah also exalted A'esa with this image and with his appearance of death. He suffered the same as all prophets and even more. While also being saved from the motives of what they tried to do. He didn't die because he was raised to Allah alive.

  • @MilanRossi

Crucifixion is an ancient method of deliberately painful execution in which the condemned person is tied or nailed to a large wooden cross and left to hang until dead.
No death is involved because the soul is returned to the body in the cave.
Just like how Sheikh explained. He did not taste maut on the cross. He was put to sleep to make the jewish and romans think that he died.
If you say body is subtitued, whose body is it and are you saying Allah SWT put an innnocent man to die?

Crucifixion is a form of slow and painfulexecution in which the victim is tied or nailed to a large wooden cross and left to hang UNTIL DEAD. SO JESUS PEACE BE UPON HIM WAS NAILED ON THE CROSS BUT DIDN'T DIE. SO HE WAS NOOOOOOT CRUCIFIED.

That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";― but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not.― (157) Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise. (158)
the verse talks about that people who boast that they have killed him, and crucified him

In a similar fashion Jesus could not have been put on the cross in the first place. The Qur'an says that he was never crucified, put on the cross, and he was never killed. In order to be crucified you must be put on the cross, irrespective of whether or not you died. To be crucified means to be hung on the cross, dying is only an end result. If you were crucified and yet did not die, you still were crucified. The Qur'an says he was never put on the cross, so he suffered absolutely no harm.

Salam everyone, why I always see arguments? It's good we are talking about Islam but making a false comment is easy, I might be trying to cause confusion even if I already know the truth. Why can't the person who seek guidance provide contact details and takes the conversation elsewhere, rather than continuous arguments, let's praise God (s.w.t) and give salutations to the Prophet (s.a.w).

  • @ahmedbaker3146

This does not make sense..if the sheikh was correct, then allah could have said they did not crucify him..but allah says "they did not kill him, they did not crucify him"..so jesus (as) could not have been on the cross (ie they did not crucify him) and if you use the argument of crucifixion means to be put to death then allah responds with they did not kill him...so basically he wasn't on the cross and he wasn't killed..and allah knows best.

"You neither slept nor did you put your head on the pillow."[] Even if you did not sleep, if you had really put your head on the pillow the sentence above is false.[] In a similar fashion even if Jesus,as, did not die the action of crucifying him means that he was physically put onto the cross. Yet the Qur'an says he was not crucified, so he could not have been put on the cross. Crucifixion is the entire act of crucifying.
