Can’t possibly get any better, camping out in the bush in an awesome camper, with your dog, enjoying a delicious meal then an early night. Thats the type of camping I do here in Australia. Love the video Michele.
Super cool set up! Would it be weird for me to say that I really love that shirt? What a pretty color on you also! I'm endlessly looking for cozy shirts like that!
@@jbwesti that’s awesome! What are you looking at? It’s been a wild first week but so far exceeding my wildest dreams and I’m so happy I took the leap!
@@MicheleShanklin I have a Subaru forester current looking a pop up tent trailer. I have looked at tear drops like a hiker trailer but I feel I might be to small. I work from home and I want to start out doing week to a couple week trips at first then hopefully move to full time 😃
@@jbwesti The hikers start at 850 if my memory serves me well. I looked at those too. My towing capacity is 1500 and my dry weight is 850 so fully loaded like I am now I’m easily 1250-1300. I’ll admit we struggled up on some of the long sustained passes but since I had a transmission cooler installed I wasn’t worried we were just SLOW. It’s all about what matters most to you. I really wanted hard sides and someplace we could hide from weather. So that’s why we ended up in a drop. You’ll find the right rig (and then immediately want others because it’s addicting 🤣)

Hi! New subscriber! Can you share the link to your chair? I had one that I recently bought from REI and it broke after 2 weeks, it's for me and my puppers. Thank you!
Hi! Thanks so much for subscribing! We appreciate the support! It’s a Kuma Outdoors Buddy Chair www.kumaoutdoorgear.com/store/product/bear-buddy-double-chair-16/ Amazon often has them on sale! It’s super comfy!
@@mariemorgan tow capacity is 1500 lbs and you have to have trailer brakes. I had an additional transmission cooler installed to help regulate temperatures in the mountains but it was super inexpensive!
@@thomasuzarski7368 the drop it’s self should be around 1150 based on the weight of what’s attached and packed. I do also have my car loaded but since it’s just one human in it and a dog it’s probably not too far off from being like I had a few people in the car. In Arizona it has zero issues and I have amazing gas mileage. We are just slow on the uphills of the Colorado passes so we take our time is all. I did install an aftermarket transmission cooler but otherwise it’s stock. Long sustained climbs are where we slow down. Short and steep I can handle easily.
It very much is a huge camping weekend! I call what I do glamping 🤣 It’s a little different when you live in something for a summer. Gotta have some comfort….ok a lot of comfort.
Just found your channel Michele and it’s fantastic. I love your TC Teardrop, your enthusiasm is infectious. Keep it up. YOLO you only live once!
Awww welcome and thanks so much!! Amen to YOLO road life is wild!!

Not weird at all that is such a kind compliment thank you 🧡 It’s from Amazon! I’m a sucker for shirts like that too!
Looks like a great setup for roads trips adventures 😃

Recommendation, tell us what ingredients you are adding as your making your dinner.
I can do that!
lol, you say toe-may-toe and I say toe-mah-toe but we both say Gyro 😂😂. Enjoyed day 1, Feens is so cute with his sun toy 🐶❤️
There are just many words we all say so differently 🤣 The sun toy remains a fav even though it’s not longer yellow 🤷🏻♀️
sick lets get it!
Thanks!!
I am loving that "sofa" you have on your porch. Can you link it? Or tell me what it is so I can google it. That would be perfect for us.
Of course! It’s from Kuma Outdoors and is called the buddy chair. You can find them on Amazon!
Great energy! +1 sub.😀

Hi I’m pulling with a 2022 Subaru Crosstrek. My camper is really light at 850lbs dry.
