    I think the progression to a product company is just brilliant. They have a great data set of all the issues one would have with an RO(through their services business). Fix those issues and you've a great product!
    A great episode and truly a great journey of building such a complex service business. Kudos to entire team!

    I am still sceptical abt services business , coz standardisation is difficult and there are many leakages .
    However they introduced water purifiers which could be a killer move coz ticket size is 18000 and installation cost is minimal, plus you can standardise it. After two years user anyway has to come to you for service which will be repetative. They can expand to even tier 2 and tier 3 cities with water purifiers.!!

    As a thank you gesture, one suggestion. Do something to prevent the leakage. Many many folks book your partners directly, thus depriving the company it's share. May be a incentive program to report/avoid this or whatever.

    • @dhruvwork
      @dhruvwork 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have seen otherwise. Surprisingly partners I have come across insist that I book through platform. And are genuinely grateful for the company existence and operations. Makes me very happy.

    Dude, @urban company, I don't know what success you are talking about. I placed order for @Native water purifier a week ago, paid up entire amount. Every day I get a message saying it is delayed and delivery is pushed forward by a day EVERY SINGLE day for the last 10 days!!!!! Disgusted, I have raised a query on your chat for cancellation and refund. NO RESPONSE!!!! There is no phone number to reach you. What happens now??????????😢

    This is the problem as exemplified by the interviewer himself. Urban sent you a good carpenter. You started engaging him directly after that. The business model suddenly looks shaky if there is no repeat business

    Urban company can get their top performers to present their best practices for other partners.
    Also please think of ESOPS for partners too.
    And get some of your partners into management in things like operations, customer care. They will have unique insight.

    Every thing is great ,but now a days company policy towards their on field working teams are very harsh ....they just block worker id for reasons that are genuine but they simply block workers from their work even if customer cancels orders ....urban company is going to loose talanted workers.....its their biggest drawback...

    This company might be doing well in business, but when it comes to ethics, they're worse than a typical shady operation. Talk to any employee, and they'll share stories that are hard to believe-it's brutal for them. The profit margins are a joke, and the idea that they're making employees or partners independent is a complete myth. I've spoken to several UC partners, and the conditions they endure are appalling. The support is non-existent, and if you dare operate in their service area without using their app, they threaten you. Partners are forced to buy everything from UC at inflated prices, leaving no room for profit. There's no life, no ethics, and no future working with this company. I used to respect the founders, Varun and Raghav, but after hearing what the partners go through, that respect is long gone.

    The company doesn't support the professionals and this is a fact.If the customer cancels a booking,then the entire professionals profile will go haywire and a video pops up that the professional should watch a video of Mr.khaitan and the profile will be unblocked,even if there is no fault of the professional.

    Thank you for making these videos and sharing insightful discussions.
    As you’ve traveled a lot, lived in different countries and interacted with folks from different states and cultures, I don’t need to explain you how most of the people from other countries and communities take pride in their culture and language.
    Next time try to say Pune and not Poona. Because what people like you say gets promoted directly or indirectly.. I totally understand name of your company and not even asking you to change it. But when it comes to city names, let’s take them as Pune and Mumbai.
    It’s because Marathi people haven’t preserved their language and culture, the Marathi identity is slowly vanishing…
    I could write all this in fluent Marathi, but I wasn’t sure if you can read it.
    Not a troll comment.. think about it.. It’s on the people to promote and take pride in their culture.. Observe how other communities are doing it silently..

    Urban clap or no broker or any company which has app are it based company most of the people do not have skill to do work. In urban clap basick skill like to make drill can't be done. They just know how ton say Hello but does not solve problems. I am tired this app based company.

    I really feel people in India should stop using their hands and torso gestures while speaking. It slows down your articulation and is not encouraging for your vocabulary as well. These individuals who are part of the cream of the society are having difficulties speaking well. Maybe this is the reason why India is becoming a cheap copy of the west. Our vocabulary is not getting stronger if we keep using our body to talk.

    • @tarands
      @tarands 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thats why west folks jokes about our head tilts gestures
      A little is correct but doing it this much just creates a distraction of sorts.
