Cheap PWM Fan controller using MaxxECU

- This is part of another video I did while converting an Escort RS Turbo to EFi.
Essentially we are using an OEM fan controller used on many Fords/Volvos etc. Available online, or from your local Motor Factors.
This particular one has a part number of 940008501
The connector kit is available from our webstore:
www.p-v-e.co.uk/product/conne...
www.pvengineering.co.uk
we've used these on a good number of cars now, and all perform faultlessly.

Fitted one of these with the plug kit from Steve . Using it with another ecu brand but it works a treat. Great video and insight 👍👍
Nice video, and clearly explained.
Maybe one I'll look at in the future, if my ECU has the facility to run it.
This answers my question from the other video :)
Very cool 😎 😎
Thx for this extremely helpful top draw stuff S
Thankyou. 👍👍
What SSR would you run for a larger fuel. I have Maxxecu Race and need a reliable solution. Many thanks.
I'd yes the Maxxecu PWM module honestly. Good quality item, for not a massive amount of money. CAN-BUS driven, so you don't lose an output. :-)
Would this require brushless fans?
Good vid, i looked on your shop and cant see the connector kit for this, have you a link?
My bad, I'd uploaded the product, but not activated it. Direct link in description also. Steve
I'll order a set tomorrow, its weird seeing this vid pop up today as I was literally thinking about adding PWM control to my fan
could you use this to control a fuel pump?
It could run a fuel pump certainly. I'm not sure on longevity of the module running consistently though.
I've never used it for that purpose to tell you confidently it won't destroy itself after a couple of hours. We use the Jaguar PWM fuel pump module generally for this use. :-)
@@TuningShed Thanks! just bought a Jag one 7W83 9d372 AA - don't suppose you sell the connectors for these?
@@davidwoods6821 Hi Dave, Yes got them in stock. I've been meaning to add them to the website with a load of other connectors. I'll add them in this evening. :-)
