My '07 MKX just turned 83,000 miles, NO problems a great vehicle.

Has the heat and COOL bucket seats. Keeps as cool as a Lexus seat.

I'm going to keep the MKX as long as it runs. The first year was '07 and is a winner!
I'm looking at a 2008 MKX right now..but it's in another state so will
have to travel to it to test drive it. Can you please tell me how the
ride is over bumps and pot holes? I'm trying to find a used small SUV
like this that will give me the softest ride possible due to having a
bad back. Also..do you actually feel the air conditioning coming from
the seats cooling your backside down..or is it just a gimmick? Thanks
for any help!
Just bought a Lincoln MKX and love it! Handles like a dream and rides like a cloud. Open that roof and turn that radio on and you're in another world.

Can someone who owns this vehicle please tell me if you can actually feel the cooled seats working? Because I've heard different opinions on this and want cooled seats that actually cool my backside since I live in a very hot state. Thanks!
I had a 2010 mkT. I felt the AC seats working. I have an 08 Navigator. I feel the AC seats working.

Unfortunately after test driving this vehicle my husband said his thighs were too wide for the seats as he felt constricted in them..so we are now shopping for a bigger SUV. We like the newest Aviator and plan on test driving one as soon as the pandemic eases up. Stay well!

One isn't necessarily better than the other. I don't think you're interested in resale value, so best is to take them both for a spin ( performance, road holding, interior, try to park it...) To me buying a car is an emotional thing; never mind the specs.
It's just like buying a coat; look at yourself in it, in the reflection of a large shopwindow.
Choose the one you feel most comfortable in ;-)

Read the comparison in Motortrend from about two months ago with the RX350, MDX, X5, and MKX. They say that the MKX can't even compete within it's class. The car may accelerate, but it's interior is sub-par and it turns like a boat.
but the Lincoln is the most comfortable for taller individuals. Those Japanese vehicles don't even compare. This Lincoln MKX has hydro bushings up front, that means it floats. Comfort is at the top of my list. the problem with the Japanese vehicles is the steering wheel intrudes onto my legs, is too far from me when I put the driver seat where I need it, and is difficult to get into the vehicle when the steering wheel is so close to the dashboard with my long legs. Not even today do the Japs have it pat down in interior ergonomics. Pretty sad. Maybe they should pay Ford for a better interior ergonomics layout. I'd love to own a Toyota/Lexus but not anytime soon unfortunately until they fix their interior ergonomics. A shame really, because Jap vehicles are far more reliable than Ford/Lincoln.

@FordGT8806 Well Jaguar and Land Rover is owned and designed by TATA motors of India for a while now. Ford only owns 13 percent of Mazda and I think are looking to sell Volvo. As for the qulity of those vehicles... Jaguar suffered under Ford designs, Volvos are not even considered as the worlds safest cars anymore, and Mazda is still "asian" designed. I own a Lexus GS300, Look to possibly own a MKX or Ford Edge. Flame me all you want.
LOL and that's not like buying a Toyota SUV?! The MKX looks much better and out performs the Lexus and I believe buyers will be proud to drive an American designed car over a transplant rx350? Ford Motor Company has the best vehicles on the road: Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Mazda are all top in quality...

there is a huge difference between need and wants...i dont need to get those cars and if i did get em i would get em myself i aint no snobby lil white kid that had a episode on sweet sixteen screamin "daddy get me this one"
