- Guntu is a cross between a traditional ryokan and luxury yacht, offering guests the chance to unwind amid the ever-changing landscape of the Seto Inland Sea, as this video (filmed before the pandemic) shows.
With only 19 cabins and suites, and a maximum capacity of 38 guests, it's a luxurious getaway that's sweet respite from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Japanese artisanal craftsmanship and architecture is on another level
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. This is going on my bucket list.
This looks amazing, a vacation where I basically do nothing sounds good. And the ship is beautiful! Love the idea of supporting local and less known places.
* Watches this from my capsule hotel pod * 👀🍿🥤
This beautiful Ship is definately on my bucket list. Sublime
The choosing between the western or Japanese style dishes is something I’d never be able to do - they both look so good hahahaha
Oh I would love to go on one
I live near the Seto Inland Sea, but the Seto Inland Sea is a very beautiful place and the food is excellent‼️
Would love to visit in future, thanks for sharing!
omfg this is Fantastic
I would love to go on this ship. Would like a more detailed tour of ship and rooms.
Omg 😱 I wish 😻🥰
Would love to see the Japanese build a modern mega yacht in the theme of a grand Imperial Junk of fudal Japan times.
Award-winning architect designs Muji ferry.

$9000.00 per guest for 2 nights!!!! I wish I have money that grows on tree!
$9000 for 2 nights!, i was like jesus, thats my 1yr of salary.
I want to smoke fat blunts on this trip. But 9k sheesh
WOW, who can afford this? The 1%?
Depends on the country you reside in. Some countries it may be the top 20%, others 10%
I'd say for Singapore, the top 10% with general ease, the top 20% pretty comfortably but with a slight pinch, and if they really wanted to stretch it for the one time experience, the top 40% possibly with some effort. That of course, also depends on how much they're burning on daily luxuries generally.
A govt officer at the staff-executive levels could take home a 10 - 15K SGD bonus in a year, pre-pandemic. Their managers easily earn 50% on top of their pay, so you're looking at 15 - 22k SGD in bonuses in a year. We haven't even breached the directors and chief ranks.
Rich people really do become neurotically self-indulgent. This is a great example and they take themselves so seriously. $4,500 per night on this thing floating through a very ordinary waterway with an interior that is somewhat styled like a barn? Get a life!
its very overpriced, in kerala we have the same luxury floating traditional boat with all the facilities and it cost way cheaper.
Wait really?! Does it have a special name? How much does it usually run?
@@FrozenPureRose nope they dont have one although its a luxury boat
This boat is 1 of the kind ....
