Fine Adjust + High Resolution adjustments gave some really awesome results, I’m looking forward to seeing what it helps me make. All really good tips here. Thank you
Another good tip is to colour code your frequencies within the DAW. Then colour code your drum parts according to those frequencies. In drum rack if you click on a pad and hold shift it will take you through to a colour page where you select colours for your different instruments. Purple for bass, red for kick, orange for snare and clap, blue for hats etc
Hi! Your video is very nice and you showed me a lot of functions which wouldve taken me extremely long to find out myself. Thanks for that and thanks for the quality content!
I got my Push 2 a year ago and just got to work with it with very few videos. I already loved using it, but these tips really leveled that up. Just saving for the Push 3.
I've had Push 2 since 2018. I'm reluctant to tell you how much time the unit has spent in the box it came in. I have used it in scene mode rather than clip mode. Not knowing about teh difference has been a colossal oversight on my part. I couldn't stand the auto launching of the next scene. Lost my flow constantly and shelved the unit. I know, I know, read the ¤#&¤ manual, no excuses. Let's watch the rest of the video now and see what else I've missed.
pretty cool crash course.. I've maybe used my push 2 for about 8 hours and hadn't even thought of step modulation via it. Elektron fans will be loving that.
Hey man, love the videos, could I ask for your help. I have an effects rack, amd am wondering if there's a way to mute or unmute the whole effects rack using Push2 ? (Cheers from Australia)
Heyo Andy! Glad the video was helpful :) The easiest way to toggle mute on an effect rack with Push 2 would be to custom map one of the button/pad/knobs to the on/off switch of the whole effect rack. Hope that helps
You need to select the snare.. I have push one and the way I do it is through the device view.. I click “devices” and then select the snare or whatever I want to add plugins to.. I hope that makes sense
Producers nowadays are obsessed with loudness: you CAN cranck the volume of your bass up all the way, but you don't HAVE to... And puh-lease: consider omitting the ridiculous base ball cap when demoing.

Those snares sound like claps...very insightful workings of push, great stuff!
Yeah, it was bothering me that he kept referring to the clap as a snare. Otherwise, informative video.
@@RogerFaught- I thought that was just me being picky, as that bothered me too. But the rest of the video was awesome. So much good stuff in there.
I've been using Push2 for 4 years and I learned some new things here. Well done!
Top content mate! Thank you :)
that last tip especially hits hard
That last tip was really good!

Your too good. Good instructions and no waffle. Ideal for me learning this which has been stored away as I never knew how to use it .

Glad it was helpful :) agreed, push 2 is a BEAST
amazing video... one thing about the push its powerful but you have to learn the shortcuts..
Once you know a few of it's secrets, it really opens up as a tool!
Great tips... AND please stop calling claps snares. 😂
Great tips!
Glad it was helpful :)
Amazing video, thank you.

I can tell processing the dialogue was a nightmare in this one 😂
Great content destroyed by TH-cam’s incessant adverts…..word coming to mind is criminal
The card above doesn't exist for learners, can you provide.
when i try to load a plugin on the snare, it also loads on the entire drum rack, is it because its a 3rd party plugin?
You need to select the snare.. I have push one and the way I do it is through the device view.. I click “devices” and then select the snare or whatever I want to add plugins to.. I hope that makes sense

But its not push 2 that is powerful. Its ableton.
no it’s the fact that the tool is designed in house by the same company. giving you extra power when they’re together.
Agreed! Push 2 isn't much without Ableton.
I see Push 2 as a physical extension of Ableton that is it's own instrument!
@metamindmusique thanks for the video!! What's that's push stand you're using? Link? Just started seeing your videos. Thanks!!
