I love the way they gloss over the two mix bus compressors in a brief half second: the DW. Fearn VT-7 and the Dramastic Audio Obsidian. Both amazing boxes doing what they do brilliantly, albeit differently. Great tour; Dave is chill and funny, and the space is simple yet elegant and inviting. Well done, lads. Cheers
You really manage to find all the really chill people. Have you run across anyone yet who's super high-strung? Haha. Man, I love this workflow. Multi-use spaces are fantastic. What a gorgeous studio. Thanks for sharing!
What an amazing studio and video! Thanks so much, Andrew and Dave, for an awesome studio tour and for showing off the Gobos and acoustic treatments we built for Dave. It is so fun to get to see how Dave uses everything!
@@chinmeyswayThe wood slats create a type of Binary Amplitude Diffuser. The concepts have been around for a long time, and Acoustics Insider, us, and many others have incorporated them into our designs. The spacing and design used here in Dave's room comes from the design of our Scatter Face product.
Mr. Workflow. "I would sell my soul" got a big laugh from me ... yup, that's apparent. The work that goes into the sends, templates, control surfaces and automation really pays off. Nice. Awesome space, acoustic treatment, flexibility, space efficiency, ergonomics. Sweet. THANK YOU for the tour!
I keep my old phones for guitar fx pedals and mini synths/drum machine. its a shame moog dropped the filtatron app, but i like a lot of the korg apps. that way your phone can at least always be an instrument or fx as a second life if you stop using it as phone.
Interesting, how he put the music back into the joint. With respect to the people and process. Rather than the hype or brand. . Remember my fellow music artists,,, "Its ALLWAY about the Joint".
What's on the desk? Cork? Would have liked to have heard Dave's thoughts on taming desk reflections & how effective he found the "cork" treatment. Great video though! 👍
I’m not one to make any comments on TH-cam but just some input… The jerking zoom in and out thing was super distracting. Your videos are usually really clean so just my two cents, it made it a little hard to watch. Other than that great video, studio is amazing and thanks for everything.

"...95% of the time I'm in here mixing alone." Bruh...dream job.

Damn what a beautiful space.
Great history and setup. The piano is actually a vintage Mason & Hamlin. Had one at a studio I use to work at.
This is the definition of a creative space. I could mix there for hours. Very nice ❤
I love how clean this studio is, it has a warm, intimate feel.
Also crossing my fingers for that giveaway 🤞🏿

Used to work at Graham's studio in east years ago. Dude is the real deal and a good dude
Потрясающая студия, оптимальная по размерам и крутые студийные мониторы, такие же стоят в студии daft punk
Great interview....Dave Clauss is a real class act, the right mind-set and approach.
This was very cool, Thanks for the tour.

Wow, amazing space!
What a great space!
Unfairchild, Strauss monitors and Orban EQ's. A lot of Eric Valentine influences here... Or maybe it's the other way around..?
Timeless
Love it Dave!

Dream space ❤❤❤. Where to buy these acoustic panels?

Eric Valentine also uses the Strauss ones.
hi what is your daw mixer and any pros and cons ?
What was that thing he was using to automate complex commands in pro tools? (Ie creating and coloring tracks, adding a bunch of sends, etc)
Jeff Goldblum's home studio. wow
What type is the small desk w/ mixer and screen in the atmos room?
How fun it must be to change that smoke detector battery above that cloud lol

What is his fader controller? Looks too big to be the uf8?
Avid s3
This room is almost the similar size of my room.
Does anyone know the portable workstation he is using in the second studio? The one with the curved monitor.
People shouldn’t sleep on the Kali monitors. I love my IN-8’s.
what is this meter app?
You missed the Fearn Vt2 :(
So who’s mick? They keep talking about Micks room.
Is he related to Santa?
