Just wanted to pop on and say a Great Big Thank You, Briana! I managed to make this cardi in baby #3 and it turned out Beautifully! I sized the pattern down a few for an xs, some peoples xxs, and used about one huge ball of baby Bernat. I also used a slip stitch ribbing, instead of single crochet ribbing, and it looked just like a knit rib. Even though it took a while to do the ribbing that way, I was surprised at how fast this sweater worked up over-all! It is likely my best looking and most wearable project yet. You have an amazing gift, and we love you for sharing it! God bless your hands to success!
Such a beautiful sweater! Thanks so much for taking the time to teach us. 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing this! I can’t wait to make it!
If I am successful I can honestly see making one for all my friends and family. It is absolutely beautiful!
I can’t believe I have been on TH-cam perusing the crochet tutorials for years and had never seen your channel. You are the best!
I found you on a Facebook reel making Christmas stockings and ornaments. God bless❤️
Beautiful, just love this cardigan. The diamond pattern is just gorgeous. Thanks for the tutorial, I can read patterns to a point, but learn much better by tutorials. Thanks again for sharing. Cathy, from Washington state
Very nice love it.
This video is helping so much with the construction of this cardigan. Thanks, Briana. The written pattern is clear, but I love getting a picture of where we are going with our stitching.
Thank you so much Briana for sharing this beautiful cardi. This is my next project. I really love love love it!
Gorgeous cardigan! Love the colour theory yarn, I use it a lot😊
Thank you Brianna! I almost always use Worsted weight Acrilyc because I not only have severe arthritis (too thin yarn or too small hook can cause pain), but I also have tons of allergies so it’s easier to stick with acrylic. I have substituted one yarn for another by using measurements. This method works great as well.
Omg I can’t wait to try this!
I really like that sweater. I hope I can find the time to make one.
So beautiful.Thanks for the tutorial.wanna try it.😊

Assalomu alekum thank you beatiful sweater❤❤❤❤
Loving the look of this and want to try it! Question thou, would this still work if I switched out the double crochet for half double? I can modify it some to fit me etc but was curious if the diamond shape steps would still work out 🤔
I have a beautiful sport weight yarn I want to use and have no idea about yards used yet lol
Hello Brianna! It's beautiful ! Which method did you use for the sewing? Whipped stitch with needle? Slipstitch with crochet? Thanks a lot!
Beautiful
I really like this cardigan! I'm trying to make it in the size XS. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong because the first five stitches and the last five stitches equal ten. I know it should equal nine. Maybe I'm off by a stitch or maybe not. I need a little help on that.
I'm working on the sleeves. For the 2nd time. I've shortened them. But how does it taper from upper arm to wrist? My first time, I had no tapering down.
WOW 😍😍😍😍😍👍👍 👍 👍 👍
Great pattern, Briana and this video is so helpful in explaining all the details without making it too long or tedious. Thank you! But I must say something. I have seen the ribbing done like this with many patterns and I just have to ask, why not use several rows of FP/BP DC instead? It has the same effect and is much easier to work. It may even be possible to curve around the bottom front corners with this method. I just started this pattern but when I reach the ribbing section I may try the FP/BP DC pattern, just to see if it works. I'll let you know.
When it comes to ribbing it can be personal preference. I find this way is less bulky, but if you prefer using FP/BP for sure go for it :)
Im not able to find the size chart. And no of stitches I need to increase or decrease based on the size I choose. Can someone help me with this please😊
It doesn't say how much yarn specifically for the long cardy length .I would like to know because I only have 1000 g of the colour I want to do it in
Esta bello, pero disculpe que no se vea con ese hilo oscuro.Gracias, por favor seria util que agregaras todos los pasos.
Trying to add the sleeve/arm section on pattern calls for ch64, stsc, then 3dc, ch1, skip space, 4dcs with this being the repeat. But your video show 7dcs ch1 skip space across. Help!
On the 2nd half of the sleeve, when splitting in half for the opening...1st stitches came out fine except the last set. It has 7 stitches instead of 5 and it's throwing the pattern off. I'm not sure how to fix this. Is this what you're having problems with?
I am unable to get the pattern for size L. Can anyone help?
What brand hook is that

Why didn't you show how to seam it together. It's not helpful when steps are skipped!
Checkout MJ's on the hook tutorials, she is very thorough and shows every step that's why I like getting her patterns.
