- This is a video I put together for the United By Trucks "Submit Your Truck". I don't think import trucks were qualified for their videos, so I don't think it ever made it the cut. I am posting it here because if you are new to my channel, it gives a great overview of the modifications done to my B2200.

Hey man, just wanted to tell you that you totally inspired me to throw an LS motor in my new(to me) Mazda b2200. Stay well buddy. Hopefully will have it in the truck by this Thursday. Ill put together a video when it's ready to drive and let you know so you can check it out.

Do you have a video that's a detailed overview of the swap details? Engine and trans mounts, cooling system, fuel delivery, oil pan, ect.
I'm looking into swapping my b2200. I've done an ls swap in a c10 already so I'm familiar with doing one just not into this chassis

Mannn this is awesome I wanted to swap a 3.0 V6 into a 92 Mazda b2200 but now that ik you can fit an LS1 i gotta go all the way 😂 these Mazdas are built like tanks and their so fun to drive i can't wait to do this.

If I got your truck right now to make it my personal daily, which I so would if it had AC.
Get new seats that are so specifically fabbed in for ultimate comfort, fresh and also ones that fit my body perfectly then get the AC blowing straight up ice cubes.
Then Id remove the rack and the rear bumper(I want one to pretect vitals in a rear end but have a fresh one fabbed thats sleek and uber frame reliantly durable like one made of full steel that also merged with the vacant squares others use to put backup lights in, but not to the floor just like 2 inches under the end, and fill the holes but half inch thick playe steel, then have it bolt right to the frame in the same 2 bolt holes, maybe slotted mounting holes for ""perfect"" fitment... always thinking about these friggin gems of a truck. I feel so blessed in my insignificant life to at least love and own and daily one of these little trucks a simple team that went to work every day created.

what headers are those?
I originally used Camaro headers from ebay but they required extensive modifications to clear the steering shaft. I since have switch to the Speed Engineering S-10 LS Swap headers. They are a direct fit except some minor clearance where the header exit flanges hit the fire wall. I used a block of wood and a hammer to move the firewall about 1/2" so the flanges didn't rub the firewall.
What transmission did you use? I went with an nv3500 and were in the process of trying to maker fit and then I'm going to have to make a shifter relocator
I used the 4L60 and will soon upgrade to the 4L80. Sorry I can't help with info on yours.

2:05 in this video explains that I am using a Ford Explorer 8.8 with 3:73 posi that has been narrowed. Several other videos on the channel showing the process of narrowing the read and installation.
