Oh, that's beautiful! Our first IBM-type PC was a 50mhz 486 with 8mb RAM. When Win95 came out, it ran like crap on it, so we updated to a Pentium 133 with 32mb. I later added a Voodoo Banshee card and this was my machine for Dark Forces 2 Jedi Knight, Myth 1&2, Quake, and oh the memories!

Its amazing to think how more advanced the pc has become since the heady days of mid 90s, my brother had a similar spec pc and it was a beast of a machine, i was console boy back then only because pcs couldn't keep up with the likes of the PlayStation 1, N64 etc and it took so long sometimes to get a game to work like making boot disks etc before win95 but these days the pc has very much overtaken consoles power wise i much prefer the power of a pc and all the tweaks you can do with them that you cant to with a console.
I still have a couple of ibm thinkpads a T22 and T23 one is running Windows 95 and the other is win 98 i used the T22 to play my old dos games on as it has the correct sound soundbaster card to get the audio to work right, doom, quake, hexen play so damn well on this laptop, i also go a bunch of win95 games like virtual pool, simcity, lemmings 95 that run great.

And he touche it and said something like "Well now I can tell my friend I have actually touche a Pentium!" I was too young to remember when this computer was the top, but I was in my teens in the 00's and I had the same experienced when a friend got a PS3, as one of the first in my country... My very first PC was this Pentium 133 with 16 MB ram, I had so much fun with windows 95 and all the softwares the store owner installed for me, until about year later I bought Might & Magic VI and Need for Speed (forgot which one), and I needed more FPS so I went to the store and the owner recommends me a Pentium 200 MMX and he overclocked it for me to 225MHz, so it was a decent upgrade from 133 to 225, almost doubling the FPS.
A few years later I traded in the PC to the same store owner and he built me a Pentium III 500Mhz with a Voodoo 3 3000 graphics card, from there on I could game better and install NES and SNES emulators, and it was my golden era, it can even run bleem (PS1 emulator) playing Final Fantasy series on it. Learned HTML and stuffs and finally after several years later, I worked and got my own money, I bought a new PC with Pentium IV 2.4GHz and it was a huge leap... from there on the journey continues to Core 2 Duo E6750 > i5 3570K > i5 12600K > i7 13700K (current PC)

Indeed. Emulators might be good for those who can't acquire a real retro machine for whatever reason but they will never match the feeling of playing for real on this kind of hardware. For making my life easier, I have replaced many HDDs with SSDs in these old machines and even that takes away some of the feeling.

Lol wow that's fast! I remember our windows 95 took an eternity. Our process was turn it on, go make yourself a cuppa, then by the time you get back it's ready to rock. Lol

The HDD was very clean when I made this video, you don't have to add much to those old bastards before they double and triple their boot speed. 😆

My first pc had a 133 mhz AMD. I soon replaced it with a Pentium 150 mhz.

I had Intel Pentium P-3, 64-MB RAM, 20 GB HDD with Windows ME in 2000. Before that we used MS-DOS for C programming ,BASIC, FORTRAN etc in our school. Around 1998 I remember we used to play a Cat game with 3 dumpsters. Forgot the name pf the game. Win-ME had great multimedia experience, although people still favored Win-98, until Xp came out.

Got a Pentium II as well! Running Windows 98 and connects to the internet. It's a wonderful, nostalgic feeling to browse old, forgotten HTML web pages that are still around on it.
