I wonder if industrial designers realise that dark blue or dark purple is situated in the part of the spectrum that the eye is not particularly sensitive and that putting it on a black background greatly increases that situation. It's almost like they want you not to see it. I'm sure it's an incredible instrument though.
Compare Rigol MSO5000 with Tektronix MSO4054B. At the end I have Rigol DS1054Z Full Version it is good scope, but my Tektronix DPO2014 scope is professional scope even when we compare it to Rigol MSO5000. Totally better electronics components, build inside Tektronix ;)
