Looks like a great place!!! Take you back in time. Love that feeling. One of my best friends lives in a museum house. She styled her house with everything from the ‘50 / ‘60. So awesome to be there.

Cool, we love historical places like this. dang, 1695! weaving demonstration is cool. The governor's house is huge! One question I always ask at those tours is 'Is the house haunted?' :) I like it when the tours have actors playing characters.
Seeing all the different layers of modernization on the wall was really interesting, it's kind of crazy to think how many generations lived there. Hearing the lady talk about the ration stamps in time of war was really eye opening. I grew up growing my own food and I think that it's so important to not depend on stores so much. Your video was like taking a walk back in time. I loved it!
So glad you mentioned that. I too loved seeing all the layers of decoration and generations. The wartime grocery store was amazing. Too bad I have a black thumb, I would have been in trouble.
We are two history nerds and would love to visit Strawbery Banke! So much detail! We've only seen something like this at Fort Ticonderoga!
Oh you would love it then, I only showed a bit of what I saw too.
Very cool place. We love visiting places and learning the history! Will definitely keep it in mind if we are ever in the area!
I highly recommend it if you go around there, lovely town Portsmouth.
Oh it’s been ages since I’ve been anywhere like that. I remember going to one in Australia as a kid though. Was good fun
It had been a while for me too. They are so fun and it does bring back childhood memories :-)
What a great presentation at this museum - love the acting! I've been to plenty of boring museums where they just explain. Love this.
Thank you so much! I agree, living museums really, well lol, bring things to life in a fun way.
