- The Urner Traverse was very high on the list of objectives this winter for Jasper and I. It is a classic multi-day ski tour in the Swiss Alps and is often called "the skiers Haute route" because of the quality freeriding along the traverse.
It was early February when we saw a perfect weather winter window and decided to have a look. There was only one problem: Jasper had to be at work Monday morning, giving us two days and two nights to complete what is usually a five day tour. Will we make it?
Just recently came across your video ski touring across Switzerland. Great work in both videos! Already getting me stoked for winter...
That’s the story!
Nice skiing. Looking forward to the winter season. Thank you for sharing and wishing you a great day.
Really great stuff - and amazing filming as well. Thanks for sharing!
How do you have so few subscribers and views? This content is absolutely amazing!
What an amazing adventure, and a great video! I did the 5-day version a few years ago, it was nice to see some familiar places. I remember being in the Chelenalphutte shivering like crazy because I was so cold! Doing it in two days looks like the way to do it, congrats!
Congrats guys, very nice itinerary and very nice video. With my friends we were wondering how doable the Funffingerstöck north face was. Now we now!
Beautiful editing! Nice traverse and conditions, lucky you 😎👍🏻
Epic stuff dude! Really impressive ski touring and filming coverage! Your making me very envious here in Sydney Australia!
Hey cheers mate! Go for a surf haha
Great video, super worth to be subscribed! What drone did you use? And how are the logistics of filming with a drone while touring? How do you film yourself?
Thanks :)
Super cool video! I am doing this in a couple of weeks, praying for some snow at the moment! Did you guys take a rope with you?
Hi congrats. Really epic. Could you show us a whole gear list?
Hi Miroslav, good idea! Once things quite down I can make a ski touring gear talk if it’s something I think people are keen on. Cheers!
looks awesome, you think 2 days was too tight , best to do it over 3 ?
How wide are your skis?
Thinking of doing this next year, is it a route that requires a guide?
Hey Georgia, it’s a great tour! It totally depends on your personal ability and confidence.
I know Engelberg Mountain Guides are organizing trips now they are top guys!
