Thanks for the awesome video. I have been on several Princess cruises and loved them all. However I was hesitant to get on the older ships. This video proves that the older ships are just as lovely as the newer class of ships. 🤗
Hey Mildred! Thanks so much for your comment. Yep that definitely is one of my favourite things about Princess, all their ships are very similar and just as good! The main difference is the older ones have smaller atriums but that's about it. Golden Princess is one of my favourites and she's pretty old by ship standards. Thanks for commenting!
I saw a you tube video of this ship in February 2020 and they showed the rooms were falling apart and showed the metal inside the cabin deteriorating rusted makes a little Nervous. Does anyone have any insight about the cabins they have stayed in. That video is a must see.
Excellent video! Thanks a lot! Nice to know there are younger people on the cruise as well. I am going to be on this ship in January from Singapore and can't wait! It will be my first cruise.
Another great video, so deserved a sub. I’m mid 40’s, looking to try cruising. But have been worried about wether it would be good for a guy my age. I think I’m sold ! Thank you.
Loved your tour, Emma. It’s funny because your comment regarding the 🍪.... is one thing my better half thoroughly loves about Princess (seriously, she prefers Celebrity but I can get her to go on Princess partially because of the cookies/food 😜) They are certainly a step above in this regard and the best at sea as you mention. Reviewing your video again because we are on Sapphire in Asia, Singapore to Shanghai in May. Again, a very nice job on your video.
Interesting how you describe the ship at 3:05 as ‘so old’, I don’t think I’d class a ship built in 2004 as particularly old. Definitely not this one anyway looking at how well it’s clearly been maintained and kept up to date😄 I went on CMV’s Columbus last year which was built in 1989 and you’d never know, it was so modern and ran like it was new! Such a brilliant ship. I guess it’s all about how well they’ve been maintained over the years😄
My partner and I just booked our first cruise--a northbound trip through Alaska's inside passage on the Sapphire Princess. Is this boat still one of your favorites? :) Looking forward to our trip, I grew up in Alaska and Princess had (has?) an excellent reputation there.
Hey Don I just visited Sapphire Princess for the day so Southampton to Southampton ;) Or do you mean the Asia or British Isles cruise? Thanks for commenting! I always feel like we have a celeb in the room when you comment haha.
@@Donsfamilyvacations Yeah I'm really lucky being near Southampton! Feel like I know this ship anyway though she's super similar to the Golden Princess 😋💕
I think of all the main ships out there ,I think Princess would be the best for my husband and me ! It looks lovely but not too wild and lots of ways to just relax .Seems perfect .Loved this video , as usual Emma. X
Hey Julie! Yep that's exactly what I love. Lots going on that I like (movies, quizzes, Zumba!) but not too but that it's crazy busy. Great food and service too. Probably the line I feel most at home on 😋👍🏼

Hey Ian, nope I haven't. Only Britannia for me who is similar to Royal Princess, the aft pools of this ship definitely look similar to some P&O ships... So not impossible! Have you been on Ventura or Azura? 😋👍🏼
@@EmmaCruises We have been on both Ventura and Britannia, We took my 'kids' on Britannia for my 65th birthday, just a short cruise. Emma, my daughter, said 'there is no need for that' as we drove in to the port because of the sheer size. That view changed after we had taken 30 mins to park and eat lunch onboard. Once she was sat on the sundeck drinking good value cocktails and my son having a beer and fried chicken and chips, both in shades, then they loved it. The boss and I have sailed on Ventura as well. The Ventura is a prettier ship but Britannia had better dining.
Unclear on your reply. Did you ever use room service On any of the ships? It would be nice to hear your take on them. I often wondered if one should tip the the person that delivers your grub.
I'm not sure actually! If you Google sapphire princess refurbished a post I wrote comes up, I think I talked about it... Maybe. Pretty sure they got new beds 🤔❤️
Hey Molly! I didn't actually cruise on her I only visited for the day. I filmed daily videos on my Golden Princess cruise though, they're very similar. Hope these help 😁💕th-cam.com/play/PLZINe6US8uzYC_1jM6PntVgKnyNorLJus.html
I dont like the Sanctuary pool on any Princess ship because it is always in shade and the water is rarely heated, making the water always cold. The Sanctuary pool and the small pool at the rear (aft) of the ship, are both Adult Only. That is one advantage.

I took the Sapphire Princess to Mexico in 2009. It was very nice! The pools/spas and afternoon tea were my favorite parts.
I remember cruising on this ship in Alaska in summer of 2007. I was 8 at the time. I can still recognize some of the places on the ship!
Going on this beauty in June- July! Thanks for such a great video and I'm looking forward to cruise on princess again!
Thanks for the video, was looking at Asia area cruises, and this ship popped up, so glad someone made a video to give me a look. Seems rather nice!

My first cruise was on this ship when it was pretty new!
Nice tour, and beautiful ship, Emma! No more walking into doors, ok? So cute.
