I was on this ship for a South America cruise in feb/march 2024. The food was good and a large choice - something badly wrong if you couldn’t find something you could enjoy. This was our experience for all meals. The only downside was that in the restaurants, the food was also nice but for some reason by the time it was served to you it wasn’t always warm enough ( we like our food warm). We tried all the restaurants and it was the same thing. So for that reason we ate in the buffet a lot much of the time. Although food was good overall and choice was wide and varied it wasn’t as good as other ships we’ve been on.

As new cruiser( just retired), soon on my 3rd cruise (NCL, Panama Canal is next), I have questions about 'formal' night. not a real formal person, do I really need a jacket? I love the free style of NCL. I could dress smartly, slacks, button shirt, sweater..., I want to try other cruise lines, and for Antartica cruises, it seems to be competitively priced. Looked at Holland America and they seemed to be lots higher.
I believe they made ham and cheese omelets in the main dining room at breakfast, but I don't recall exactly in the buffet. They may have had pre-made omelets there. If someone else watching remembers please comment below.

Wow I m surprised by the low quality looking food from the buffet. It’s breakfast is really nothing better than cheap motel level complimentary breakfast stuff. Lunch and dinner just the same. Really disappointing

I don't think everyone had a jacket but I would say most people had at least slacks and a collared shirt.

If I remember correctly, it is no longer free but part of the casual dining at an additional cost or it may be part of your package if you have one.
