I have both, and both have pros and cons when compared to each other. A few of my thoughts/opinions: -As video had shown, the Vertex is much easier/quicker to unzip vs the Eberlestock. -I carry a 3.5" 2011 with a Delta Point red dot. It fits much butter in the Vertex vs the Eberlestock. It will fit in both, but the Eberlestock is a bit tight. I used to carry a Glock 19 with no dot, and that fit fine in both. I use a M-Tac Gun Holster/Trigger Guard with velcro backing to hold the gun in place. -Zipper pulls, as stated in the video, are much better on the Eberlestock. I removed one from the Eberlestock and put it on my Vertex for the zipper for the main compartment. -Eberlestock can hold more items, whereas the Vertex is much slimmer. I can actually hide the Vertex under a sweatshirt. -I'm not a fan of the strap on the Vertex. The adjustability is too loose/easy to adjust, so the size can easily adjust to a looser fit when moving the pack from side to side. And there's so much extra strap that it can dangle from your waist. Though, this extra strap makes it a better option if you're going to wear it cross-body. -The Vertex is a bit less "tactical" looking and looks more like a non-EDC fanny pack. I like both, but find myself using the Vertex more often. Only really use the Eberlestock if I need to carry more items, extra mag, etc.
You're not wrong. The Eberlestock zipper does function smoother when it is worn, however the slight extra bit of material in the corner is still an issue. It's better on the Bando XL.
I've carried the Bando Bag now for the past week (most recently just a couple hours ago), and my opinion starts to shift towards the Bando for the extra volume. I've got a Bando XL on the way and will have some new videos when it arrives. Who would've thought we'd be investing time and energy into finding the perfect fanny pack 🤣
The Socp has more room than the everyday. However, Eberlestock made some modifications to the Bando XL to supposedly make the zipper pull smoother, which was one of my few suggested areas of improvement. I like the depth of the Bando a bit better as there is more room for a tourniquet along with flat items. They are both great options. You’ll likely be happy with either choice.
Hey, just to inform you the links look shady as fuck (in my opinion) and even turned me away from the channel a bit since it looks scammy, also realeaseing so many videos at once felt kinda sus to me
Last point, then I’ll go back to making more videos 🤣 TH-cam doesn’t allow linking directly to sites that sell things that pew. We as a publisher serve as that intermediary. Have a look around the site and let us know what you think. Your feedback is appreciated!

That's an awesome and detailed reply. Thanks!
I believe it would have been a more even comparison had you been wearing them for a zipper test. Tension alleviates some zipper stickage. JMHO

I bought the Vertex but it’s just not big enough (for storing other stuff). I’m going to try the Bando.

Make sure you get the XL version.
I was looking for a comparison for the eberstock bando and the vertx socp tacticalfanny pack...im thinking it would stack up even better. Any thoughts

Great review.... Are you links supposed to provide a discount ??
Sometimes they do, but regardless we’re scouring for the best deals out there.
Does the Bando XL now come with the extension strap?
As the regular Bando does, I’d be shocked if the XL didn’t.
