Zach really lives for it and he is challenging himself all the time.
And that's what makes a good pilot.
Trained in every worst scenario, so when a casual flight goes wrong, he can immediately save it, since he trained in hard scenarios.
But then again, I'm just a newbie to this hobby hehe.

Amazing video guys! I wanted this plane a long time ago. You guys totally need to do the glider tow with this Beaver! I have not gotten this plane yet… but, I was able to get my hands on a Draco as you know!!! I would love to see you guys do a review on the E Flite Draco. I may sell mine someday but I really do love it. Thanks for the video and review! Can’t wait for more!
Thank you! We love glider towing for sure! We both regret not bringing our gliders from Seattle when we moved. 🥲 We hope to get some soon to get back into it. Unfortunately, we don't plan to purchase a Draco having flown a few ourselves already. It's way too heavy for what it's trying replicate due to the weight of all the added plastic scale features. It definitely is a nice fun replica of Draco to fly around as a scale plane though! Love the reverse thrust of course, too. 😁

Great video as usual. I currently own version 1 and 2 . They are awesome flying planes. I have found by grinding a point on the wing strut pins they slide easily in without drilling.
Tail heavy production, love it, from broken prop production 😂
I use a elevator/flap mix a lot! Elevator up, flaps up. (& down with down elevator). Helps tremendously getting into a hover.
I assign switch D. & I add an 'opposed' elev/flp mix too.
Not a fan of it being permanently mixed - we prefer the manual way by flipping the flaps down and up and find it more fun. :-) Do what works for you as always though! -Zach

I know its not feasible, but would really love a shoot-out style like they do of cars. So many "back country" fliers from FMS, Arrows, HK,HH -i sometimes dont know which to buy! Solid work.

I own 2 Version one FMS Beavers and 4 version two Beavers. I love to float fly so I also own several sets of floats - this plane is AMAZING on the water. I custom paint all of my planes and this one lends itself to some very cool realistic paint schemes. Take it from a guy who has a lot of experience with this plane ......BUY ONE !! (or 6)

Great vid fellas. Try a Du Bro actual rubber tail wheel...the squared off heavy ones. They grip great on geotextile. Also...is there room for you to enlarge the rudder servo pocket and go with something a bit larger/stronger?

Would you need to add on anything on the plane for the glider release? How would that work?
I have replaced the original propeller with some from Aero-naut. Much better balanced and more power with less noise.

It would be fun to compare to the Timber for sure! Due to the wing loading specs though, we already know it isn't a Fun Cub replacement. The search continues... 😁

I was thinking about buying this plane but it doesn't look as scale as the flyzone beaver, the flyzone beaver 1510mm is beautiful you cannot see a single linkage on it looks super scale also had seats lights and a dash

Unfortunately, the floats were on back order when we got our Beaver, but we do plan to do a follow up water review eventually! 👍 We have a few folks at our local RC club who flew theirs on floats at our recent water event and it did great. -Zach

GET RID of those wheels !!!! Buy some DuBro inflatables (BIG ONES).
Stay tuned for our bush conversion video coming in the next couple months...but as we regularly suggest to our viewers - we will not be using the DuBro tires as they are *way* too heavy.
@@TailHeavyProductions actually this plane can easily handle the weight of those wheels and I have found that they fly better with that added weight.
@@TailHeavyProductions AND ..... if you add these substantial wheels the Beaver wont be so "Tail Heavy"
@@gregpopp4847 Nice! This plane isn't tail heavy with the stock configuration as we flew it, but rather conservatively nose heavy as most manufacturers strive for. We prefer our bush planes light with the lowest wing loading possible (just like full scale bush planes) - just our preference. Reference our Fun Cub bush flying videos. Happy landings!
