They said they didn't stop the RC, just the videos. Tail Heavy kind of reminds me of them, just a bit different styles. Hopefully they will come back someday, the internet is big enough for everyone.
Jet is correct. A jet is a form of propulsion from a high velocity stream of air, such as formed by a gas turbine or an EDF.
Prop planes are fun, but nothing beat the sound of a fast EDF pass.
I modified the cockpit on my 15th anniversary viper jet. My gerbil has logged a couple hours in the jet now. She enjoyed it very much while eating a carrot and enjoying the view. I have videos of her cruising around, but I never post because I don’t need PETA breaking my gerbils heart and telling her she can’t fly anymore. She has enjoyed many flights of the Hollywood sign, very scenic for a gerbil, but I love to spoil her. I have renamed my gerbil, mother of dragons, Daenerys, breaker of chains now. I ask that you do not report me, as this is all fake, and I do not actually own a gerbil. 😂

I dunno. I think some of the stuff that Jon at 2 bro’s RC does with jets is impressive. And seeing guys 3D fly thrust vectoring turbine jets on the RC geek is equally awesome. To each his own, but jets and boring? I personally find them thrilling.
I think you should do more camera drone reviews, ya know, what Cody would want… we all know he is also going to snap up that Remote ID module immediately too…

I've modified quite a few tricycle landing gear planes into tail draggers. Take offs are a little different but other than that they fly the same. I like the landings as come in on the mains and i don't worry about bending the nose gear.

When most of your experience is with very low wing loaded foam planes, it unlikely that you have developed the skills to handle this edf properly out of the box.

I have an idea that I wanted to do myself, but don't want to risk wasting the money. I have a home made flying wing that I was going to make into and EDF stunt thing, but then those tri motor hybrid VTOL drone/plane things came out. I think one is called Convergence. I wanted to take that motor system, gut it and graft it into the flying wing so it would be like a VTOL B-2 type of plane. No idea if it would fly or transition from hover to flight, but I have used a pattern to build the wing, established CG, battery placement and all that, just haven't taken the time to do it. You guys should try it out and see if it flies.
This channel offers two of my favorite things: RC planes and sarcasm. So I’ll be a loyal viewer FOR-EV-VER.

Hey guys I saw on some of your older content you had a carbon z cub, was wondering how you guys felt about the plane?
It’s a good airplane, but once we got the Flex 170, we never looked back. The 170 flies better all around than the Cub and has a much better power to weight as well.
Best R/C channel by far.

In a weird way I understand y’alls attitude on EDF Jets being boring. It wasn’t until Two Brothers RC that more of the appeal was revealed, but even still, there seems to be little innovation of jet RC. Like all these models of aircraft meant to fly supersonic don’t really have half the equip those real life planes would need to fly slow. You rarely even see jet models with straight wings. There just seems to be a lot of stuff you can do design wise to make sport jets bite less and fly more that *isn’t* being done.
hey I commented a while ago about getting a mini aeroscout, finally got it. Tried to do bunny hops and it would propose. The battery is secured where it’s supposed to, but it feels nose heavy, what can I do?

Hey guys I have tried to ask you before with no success but I would love to see you put the Arrows Bigfoot through its paces I am wondering if it can keep up with your other bush planes as it seems very capable but I cannot fly like you guys.
Hey there! We did reply to your comment asking the same last month, but I'll copy/paste it here.
Unfortunately, we don't plan to buy one since it's wing cube loading sits at 8.1 - this is higher than even the Turbo Timber Evo. We chase light STOL planes which is why the Fun Cub is our forever favorite - it has a wing cube loading of 4.2. The weight in the Bigfoot definitely would make it feel more locked on windy days, though.
It's been driving me crazy how every TH-cam channel says this is a beginner jet.

I've had a few jets and this one by far has the weirdest flight characteristics and the HARDEST to land.

I think prop planes are way more fun in almost every other respect. I think my prop to edf ratio is at least 5-1 and if I want to fly in circles really fast I got that covered.
Each to their own mate. Mines 1:1 as recently took a huge interest in overpowered STOL planes.
Only thing better would have been to make it a straight wing biplane taildragger lol.
Little fact many people don't know or haven't thought about. When you take something like a single wing fokker and turn it into a biplane like the fokker d7 you don't gain twice the lift by adding another wing. On average you only gain approximately 20% lift . Yay for Physics!

Or Best Review ever, it kept me in stitches the whole time. Just won this jet in the RC Geek giveaway, so had to see your review, the only one I'd waste my time on. Not something I would usually buy as I'm into throwing more money away in larger jets and prop planes, especially doing custom liveries if you've ever seen my videos, but a free aircraft is FREE. 🤣 And you're spot on regarding the rats nest of wing wires going into a pee hole, what a piece of 💩 design. May rewire that whole mess, and make it worse. 🤬 So I'll just fly the crap out of this and hopefully use up some of my many "pilot errors" instead of allocating more to my expensive aircraft. 🤑 Stay Frosty and don't get caught up in the review for hire gig. 😇

I just bought one of these Viper70mm. I have a short Airfield so I installed a Avian 100 Amp esc so I have thrust reverse. Well I didn't even get it off the ground. It ground crazy in take off and went hard left and flipped over. 😳 all glued back together but I'm now thinking twice about why I bought it.
Sorry to hear it! That's one of the common errors unfortunately with a jet like this that as you saw in the video, we made, too. EASE her into the air - be *very* careful loading up the wing with too much up elevator all at once, *especially* when taking off and landing. Hope your second try goes well! It'll teach you a lot.
Be sure to not yank the elevator too hard when slowed... unless ur favorite pilot was Goose. 💀💀
