    Why do you say the finger points north to South when ur pointing it the opposite direction? I don't get how you point the finger towards North if flux flows to South. Help me

    • @lovattphysics6366
      @lovattphysics6366  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Adam Walker thanks for the comment. Saying it points North to South could be a bit misleading in some cases. The finger points away from the North pole, along the field lines. So if you follow the lines drawn around the magnet and your finger is pointing away from the north pole, that’s right. Hope that helps!

      VoiceCrackJack well spotted - I’ve drawn two arrows in the wrong direction! All arrows should point away from North. Good eyes! :)

    Do I need to know this for combined science AQA higher?

    • @lovattphysics6366
      @lovattphysics6366  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Harrison•H •XxXxXxX I’m not 100% sure as I don’t teach AQA but I have looked at the specification and it says you need to know the left hand rule, motor effect and be able to quantify the force using F=BIL. So in short, yep, I think you do need to know it.

    Thanks for giving me knowledge in a beautiful way❤️ . Can you please give lessons on topic "light " too. Light chapter is in our course curriculum CBSE. But I can't understand anything as in india, we are not taught how and exactly what a thing is! They just make us gulp the text written in the book. I know it will take a lot of effort to make a video . But please help sir🙏 .
    Respect your knowledge !
