mine has battery problems and games lag alot
I almost have this phone for a year now. I am planning to buy a new one, but I am very happy with Doogee X5. I've sent it only once to a service center to get fixed, but other then that, my phone is working normally everyday. I was very skeptic, because it was the most cheapest smartphone out there and I thought it will work for a couple of months, but here are we, one year later and the phone still works great.
I am planning to buy a new one. What about Lenovo C2 Power? I always look to buy cheaper, but still a good phone. The biggest and probably the only complain about Doogee X5 is the battery life. I need to charge it everyday and average SoT is around 3hr, sometimes I can get 4hr of SoT with 2400mAh battery.
Now I want phone that will last at least 2 days without charging it. I am not a heavy user, I don't play games so much and if I play games, I am not playing the "heavy" games, mostly 2D, logical, puzzle games.
Any recommendation?

You should test individual sensors in the sensor box as they can fake it. They can show you that it has a gyroscope but when you enter the gyroscope in the sensor box, it does not move according to the movement of the phone.

This is what a review should looks like .I've been looking and asking about the front camera and none seems to make a review/test about it but you did it .So thanks a lot (: .The front camera seems fine ,not autofocus like mine which is Leagoo Lead 5 ,it gives me a headache because it focus my whole face and need to use a selfie stick to make it further .I wonder why did they do that to the camera ,its 3.2mp but sucks especially in a low light room ,makes you look like you've been selfie in a cave .My old Huawei was just below 1mp but works great as a low camera .Both Leagoo and Doogee have a similar specs like wake up gesture and both focus on high resolution when watching a vid ,just wonder how the camera was with Doogee .But looking at your pic i think it seems fine ,not too focus and makes your face look big .Anyway i enjoy your vid ,thumbs up !
*btw with the wake up gesture it's better if you use your thumb or make sure your finger really touch it not by using your nail ,it wasn't sensitive because it might be pretty annoying if it always wakes up everytime something touch it .If you need to draw an alphabet make sure draw it correctly and straight in one go and if you want to zoom in don't pinch it but using your both thumb instead ,when you pinch it seems that your nail touch it as well (:

+Mostafa Shawki i don't have the phone anymore. I don't keep them long. I had a doogee DG310 that i sent to romania and somone is still using it daily after over a year. I don't know what to say... it's a hit and miss with any phone, not only chinese ones.
Hey, great review and thanks for posting. What's the touch screen sensitivity like on the X5? Looks OK on the video. I have the DG310 Voyager2 and the touch screen is acceptable but a bit of a let down. The X5 looks better though. So much technology for so little money. I am keeping the faith in Doogee, my next phone will be a Doogee :-)

what i am saying... if you want a dedicated phone for gaming you will need a faster processor and more ram
Let me ask you: Now that you have had the phone for several months, have you run into any really annoying issues with it? Did it last?
man... i don't keep these phones too long... i usually use any phones that i bring on the channel for 2 days and than i switch back to my regular phone.
my sim card setting was grey out and i couldnt turn it on .. any help?

+George Michakis thanks for watching. I don't have that phone anymore, but on most android phones you can select a ringtone if you go to setting and there sounds or audio profiles. I hope this helps.

+Redskull Not sure if i heard well but you said you were @full brightness and GPS turned on (all the time)? If so, it's normal. But if not, then not at all!!
With another lollipop chinese phone, same screen size & resolution, i get about 5-6 hours of screen on. Battery is 2700mah, so just little more.
If the X5 battery's really 2400mah, you should get AT LEAST 4hours of screen on time. If not, i'm wondering if it's not 1500mah..!! Please reply ;)

i use a lot of data on my phones, and not thru wifi. even on my Note 4 i can't get more than 3.5h of screen time.
Would you mind downloading "Battery Monitor Widget"? After you use the phone for a while (let's say 1-2days) doing all sort of things (GPS, Calling, Video playback, Surf Wifi & 3G), it'll tell you accuratly all the time you get for each use in the statistics part. BTW this phone can do 4G, you only have 3G in russia?

The camera is about the same, the build quality maybe better at S1. Soo.. this device is beats Samsung Galaxy S1. Don't lie for yourself.

Here's an honest review by someone not connected to the company. Don't buy Doogee. Search on google for "doogee dead" or "doogee won't turn on" or "doogee won't charge, and take your pick from hundreds of thousands of sites on the subject.
I've had 2 in the space of a year. When one went dead, I first bought a new battery. That didn't work. So I bought new charging cables. They didn't work. Then I bought a new doogee phone and that worked...................................for around 6 months, the same as the first one did. I believe Doogee build something into the phone to make it stop working within a year in order to make you buy another one. Clever people might assume that the first one was faulty and buy a 2nd, but when that one too, dies after only a few months, really clever people realise that Doogee is a load of crap and not worth the money.
Sure it's really cheap to buy, but in the space of say 3 years, at the rate of having to replace 2 a year, losing data and photos every time it dies, you realise you'd have been better off buying a decent phone in the first place.

So I have this phone and it is super laggy and the launcher3 is always breaking. Oh and the memory sucks.

it's a good phone for the price, but it's hard to say if you will make it thru an entire day. It depends on so many things. But you do get good value for the money with this phone

No one make review with sim card, need to see test of sim signal and call dialing, which every one forget to show. I purchased Doogee dg550 and got sim signal problem. some mobile have week signal for this must show in review also signal quality. with out sim test it is like only MP3 player

MY PHONE IS EXACTLY LIKE YOURS
So far I am happy with the phone. But as with most Doogee phones it has a terrible battery.
The camera is also pretty bad, my DG2014 has a much better camera.

But camera is still better on the DG.

these doogee has very bad battery lifespan. even if you get new battery. same. i bought and use heavily on all dg310,dg580,dg800,valencia2 u100, x5pro . there are for sale.
