[EngSub] 🇲🇲 Visiting to Part of Royal Palace | မင်းတုန်းမင်းရဲ့ နောက်ဆုံးလက်ကျန် နန်းဆောင်ဟောင်းကြီး

Now we're in Mandalay which is the former royal capital in Myanmar and home of numberious historical sites. Today we choose to visit Shwenandaw Museum and Atumashi Monastery and we'll show you why you should visit this places in Manadalay.
The meaning of Shwenandaw is Golden Royal Palace. Yeah, it was originally part of the Royal Palace in Amarapua. During the reign of King Mindon Min, he moved the capital city to Mandalay. All the buildings in Royal Palace were transported to Mandalay and rebuilt new Royal Palace in 1857. After King Mindon Min died, the new King Thibaw Min moved two buildings which were used as King Mindon Min personal living quaters to outside of Royal Palace. Then the King combined these two buildings and reconstructed as a monastery in 1878. Now it was opened as a museum. The entrance fee for local is 200 Ks. For foreigners, you need to buy Archaeological Zone ticket. The fare may be around 10 USD. This ticket is valid for a number of sites around Mandalay.
