As a Myanmar citizen, I do appreciate that you really did speak out for us.A lot of TH-camrs ,bloggers and tourists didn’t usually dare to talk about true situation of Myanmar. But you did tell everything what we expect to tell.Thank you bro.Have a safe trip. Sorry for my bad grammar
mandalay was the first city i visited in myanmar back in 2019. in all of my travels around the world this place probably was one of my absolute favourites. lots of wonderful memories. i still think about mandalay and myanmar and i am sure one day it will turn back into the tranquil and happy place from my memories. peace and love from germany.
My hometown is Mandalay. I went to that university of medicine which is near by the train station. So reminiscing watching ur clip, literally getting flash backs of my uni life where i hang. Thank u so so much for visiting and making videos of our country.
Oh...........Finally you arrive my country Myanmar. I frequently watch your videos. Hope you tell us frankly what we need to prepare to have more tourist attractions like others' Asean countries when one day peace comes. Welcome to Myanmar, hope you safe and enjoy it.
there is also a song the people of Myanmar sang together back in 2021 maybe until now. It‘s a burmese version from the Song Dust in the Wind from Kansas. I always get goose bumps when i remember back to the beginning of the war and all the victims and when i hear the song and all the burmese people with candles standing on their balconies
Thanks for sharing this. It's very informative and shows an honest picture of life in Myanmar right now. My husband is from Mandalay, we lived there for 3 years but decided to move to my country, the Netherlands, after the coup. My heart aches while watching this video. I feel so sad for the country and at the same time I really miss it, your footage brought back a lot of memories. Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much for showing the real situation of myanmar.I do appreciate for your video and your braveness. We are really tough lives under military coup. Mandalay is different under Junta.Anyway thanks for visiting our culture city and sharing the real situation of our country.🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Chai, great video, lovely people ! ❤In Mandalay we see now many Moto bikes, it is so different than Yangon...... I hope and wish Peace for Mynamar ! 🙏✌

A huge appreciation for your beautiful video about Myanmar at this moment. My deep empathy to all race in Myanmar and I hope you guys can sit together to discuss a way to reunite again as a whole one Myanmar. From Native Khmer (Cambodian race) in Mekong delta, Vietnam with love.
NOT true! In Myanmar the army can literally just take kids and force them to fight in the army. That doesn't happen in the EU. No European country is going to patrol at night and kidnap kids to take them to the army.
It is such a grateful to see you here and showing what is happening and sounds of citizens having harsh time. There are some places where there are so many people suffering a lot mostly in Sagaing and other suburbs, villages. Please don't go around police and soldiers wherever you see. Have a nice trip!

@@Chai_Travel I honestly highly doubt so, even if the Junta falls, it will be a never ending war between minorities, only Ang San Suu Kyi managed to unite the country. We are all safe in Singapore, but I am scared for my Burmese family (my wife's family). My daughter will ALWAYS be safe considering she also has French nationality.
Also, there are also many international schools around mandalay, you may see them as you go around the city. And yes, cafe city's western food is a must-try restaurant as you visit mandalay, I can tell you that it's delicious and affordable, and worth for foreigners to go there and eat! Anyway, see you, stay safe young and handsome man!
thank you also for observing all of those occurence that are happening right now around mandalay, i could say that you are one of the kindest foreigners I have seen Chai, keep going, see you!
Really accurate review about the city! keep up with the work and stay safe brother... Stay away from soldiers and their guardposts as far as you can because you might trapped in crossfire if the shooting brokes out.
I shutter at the thought of being a boy and suddenly I'm kidnapped and forced to fight a war. What about the poor parents not knowing if they''ll ever see their child again. I do dream of Myanmar opening back up to tourism but far more than that I want the beautiful people there to live free and in peace.
