[Ep09.Kyimyindaing] Visited to 3 heritage places and ate rakhine-mont-ti salad and shan-hin-htote
Kyimyindaing is a township in Ahlon District, Yangon. The word Kyimyindaing derives from the Mon languaged and means 'walled town'. During the First Anglo-Burmese War, the Burmese force built a fort in Kyimyindaing to againt the British.
In Kyimyindaing, I visted to Kyimyindaing Railway Station, Maha-wizaya-bonmi Ordination Hall, and Kyimyindaing Railway Station which are included in Yangon Citry Heritage list. Then I ate Rakhine-mont-ti salad with fried pork topping at night market and Shan hin-htote at Kyimyindaing Market.

Today is our last day in Maubin and I ate maubin-steamed-rice at 30-year-old restaurant. If you visit Maubin, you should definitely try Maubin style steamed rice. You have to get up early to taste maubin-steamed-rice. I'm not sure if the maubin-steamed-rice is left at 8:30pm or not.

Maubin looks so much safer than Dala (Yangon). When I arrived in Dala right after crossing the river from downtown, I was approached by typical people asking me for money and looked as if they would harm me if I didn't give them money.
I'm sorry to hear that. I know that feeling well. I had a similar experience with a motorcycle taxi driver when I went to Dala to look around a week before filming the video for channel.
@ChanMyaeEi Did you have that sort of experience in Maubin?
The locals in Maubin are friendly and they helped me whenever I asked for directions and information. I met some child beggars at the night market, but they didn't force me to ask for money. They were wondering about the camera and wanted to know how it worked and followed me quietly without disturbing

@@ChanMyaeEi Do you need to have a recommendation letter from the police station and word administrator office to be able to ride those buses and travel?
I went there at the end of December and I didn't bring any official letter. There're check points and just needed to show ID card at that time.

The Yangon Circular Railway has an average speed of around 15 km/h. When it reached the out of Yangon, it speeds up to 40 km/h. That's quite slow.
