Striker is the strongest gearset in the game when paired with the St Elmos. Its strengths lie with mid to long range encounters. With Cyote, you can sit back and melt everthing. I run 1 blue the rest red with striker backpack, cyote mask, ceska chest, cruisader shield and repair drone. It does all content no dramas.
The first build is what I use for my daily pve stuff. But right now I’m using a chainkiller plus the gift backpack and running 24mil headshot kills on 5 directive.
Speaking of bad RNG, from what I gather it would seem that there are gear pieces in the general loot pool that every player struggles to find, and they are different for different players. Some struggle to find a Catharsis mask, of which I have three, I struggle to get an Ninja Messenger after opening uncountable exotic caches, others can't seem to find certain guns. I find this the most frustrating part of The Division 2. I have every exotic backpack at least three times but I have never seen a Matador. By the time I find the pieces I am missing I'll be playing another game....

Our clan just play with skills and we do legendary missions a lot easier. People need to try other things sometime. There’s more than just DPS.

I run a 4 pc striker build with an Electrique Henry Chest with The Perfect Companion talent and the Fenris Backpack with the Companion talent. With skills or an ally active within 5 meters Companion gives you 15% Weapon Damage. With skills or an ally within 10 meters Perfect Companion gives you 20%. With my Mender Mine and Fixer Drone both running I get 35% Weapon Damage. Coupled with The Apartment SMG with Perfect Measured you get an additional 33% Weapon from the bottom half of the magazine. That will give you a total of 68% Weapon Damage if my math/calculations are correct. The St.Elmo's Engine is actually my secondary weapon when I run this build. Granted, I am running an all Red build but the two skills help keep me from going down too often. Plus, I'm a cover-to-cover style player and suck at using a shield
Running striker full red crit/crit dmg with a mg5 frenzy...its....kinda absurd....with the gunner mod you get a 100 round mag. once empty that frenzy buff gives you like 1200RPM firerate @ 500k-1m crits and thanks to the frenzy buff that mag is empty in under 5 sec, so youre constantly in frenzy basically. Sounds like playing a A-10 and is fun as hell.
Using the stryker chest piece , you will rarely reach your 200 stacks. And any delay you will lose those stacks fast. I found the obliterate talent is the best with 10 % assault rifle damage fenris. Also the coyote mask and 4 piece stryker.
Exactly. Ceska is the better choice here. 10% weapon damage vs at least 24% crit damage. I’ll take the crit damage. And suggesting Walker & Harris over Grupo is a huge loss. Contractors will give more than Picaro’s. Players really need to get off the Picaro’s wave in PvE. Almost anything else is better.
🤣🤣🤣 Fenris with obliterate out preforms ceska. I use both on a full red build & I choose fenris all day everyday. And Grupo is a waste of time if you’re using Coyote
My hardcore agent runs striker (no chest nor gloves) with three blue cores (obliterate on the chest). My other hardcore guy runs Fenris with Unbreakable. Both run Shield Splinterer at expertise 17. Once I hit SHD 1000 I should be able to move from Challenging with three directives to Heroic with the same directives.
@IcyVeinsWithin not a fan of the king breaker tho I get it. It just builds the stacks too slow and the vector with it's 1200 rpm basically always putting out high dmg with bonus armour up constantly
Why not use Striker chest, and improvised gloves for the extra stat & gear mod slot, instead of using the striker gloves and only getting 1 core stat & 1 secondary stat? Also, you seem to be leaving out a few important pieces of info: What other stats are you running on your gear? You went over the stats on the mask & alternatives...same thing for the chest piece. But you didnt mention what stats are on the holster, gloves, and knee pads. We can see you re-rolled into armor on those 3 pieces for the primary, but what about the secondary stats?
I only need a Regulus Headshot Striker with 60% chc with gunslinger holster and punchdrunk mask. TTK is the best defense. One shot all dead. Perfect for PvE. Great born as AR and an ACS12 or Rock n Roll as Shotgun.
So let's ask a serious question: Do you think Strikers backpack is better than the chest piece? If the descriptions are anything to go by, the backpack gives less damage than the chest piece: Backpack: 100 stacks at 1% damage = 100% weapon damage increase. Chest piece: 200 stacks at .65% damage = 130% weapon damage increase. Is it just the convenience of getting the full stacks faster or not running something like the Vigilance talent? Or am I missing something here?
The Striker's Chest is only worth it if you can consistently keep the stacks at 75%. If you can't do that, the Striker's Chest is simply not worth it. 🤷♂️
It's basically just a question of how much time you'd spend at 200 stacks vs 100 stacks. I've seen a lot of creators running around with the chestpiece and they barely get over 100 stacks, much less 200. In that case, BP is better.
@@d15p4tch6 That might be why most peeps running a striker build use a shotty as a secondary weapon. My personal choice is the R&R (I think) for the 32 shell capacity. Go in with that street sweeper blazing, and you'll build up stacks pretty quickly.

Build 1: Why a fenris (10% AR Damage) ? as we all know as soon as you change weapon you lose the bonus, grupo (15% crit damage)/ceska (10% crit chance) with obliterate, W&H 5% weapon damage yet Grupo gives you 15% Crit Damage, and personally chest & backpack on Legendary is perfect as you'll get your stacks up easy.. Of course this is your personal view but you are losing out. Just a comment as you are stating "The ONLY Striker Builds you Need" yet you are losing out with a fenris compared to grupo/ceska.. Matador is dz exclusive. Farm descent for blueprints. Then you can just craft your own!

Run a sniper chainkiller build and you should be gtg 5 directive to level faster.

Pve or pvp? if pve use perfect adrenaline backpack and intimate with the vector 45 with technician laser pointer it's great

Critical hit damage on the kneepads and gloves. Critical hit chance on the holster.
