So worth it if you don't have much time to play. 2- Solo Summit and CP for solo / dps build experimentation. 3- Challenging countdown and group heroic missions for tank / support build experimentation. 4- Group legendary, incursions and heroic countdown for challenging your builds and yourself. Nice video as always ! Have an amazing days all !
A question here! Should I not always be playing at Heroic/Tier 4 so that my drops have higher rolls? I thought that's how it worked (though my rolls are often still garbage lol)
@@Sn0wballNinja Hey ! Yes do everything in heroic for group/solo missions, summit and control points. For Countdown do it on challenging for higher time/reward ratio when you are farming. I would say that heroic countdowns are more of a challenge than a farming method. Hope that helps :)

I think in general, your picks are spot on. I haven’t really needed gear in months now, but I still run countdown at least 2x per day. I can shred the gear (an average challenging run yields about 50 pieces of loot for me) for resources and I cash out for 8 exotic caches per week. If exos is what you want, set loot to ARs or SMGs as they are pretty abundant in the exotic loot pool. One suggestion I’d make is to take a look at the weekly project and see if it feels like something you can do within your own personal time constraints. You now get three exotic components for finishing it, which is generally a pretty useful reward. Once you’ve kinda got your gear in order, stuff like raids and legendary missions are there for people who are looking for a challenge more than a decent chunk of loot.
Great video Rogue. As a 1600+ hour player, I've done all of the different endgame content a lot, so here's my list of things everyone (even newer players) should do: 1. Projects. Since Project Resolve they're pretty insane, especially if you don't have all your specialization points, or not a lot of exotic components. Even for me, again, many hours in, they provide a sense of direction and purpose to the endgame. 2. Descent. Yes, it's much different from the rest, but for roguelike enthusiasts, it's pretty decent for farming honestly. Every nemesis kill grants a guaranteed exotic cache and some NSA Credits for an occasional extra cache. You can do the nemesis in around 25-30 minutes once you learn it. You also get a collectible every week, if you care about that at all. 3. Raids. Yes, they require an 8-player group and heavy communication. But the exclusive rewards are so good that you simply shouldn't pass them up. I got my Eagle Bearer after a handful of weekly resets, and I haven't gone back since. If you're up for a real grind, play Iron Horse for the Regulus. Just do it, you won't regret it 😉
@anton.s6882 matchmaking in raids would be a shitshow. Even now, people who "claim" to know what's going on or what to do, don't. 7 man and 6 man is a thing but some people could be a hindering the team rather then a carry.

In endgame I enjoy playing in open world. Right, it’s playing the same thing again and again as well while the activities itself are mainly the same thing but having different names. Eg a bounty is basically the same thing as a control point with respect to gameplay. But I like to be in open world and in different mission settings. Mostly we do all activities (except propaganda) in one area, moving to the next. Sometimes we start on one side of the map, marking a target area somewhere on the other side, following the path, doing the activities on the way, no fast travelling, having multiple random encounters in areas we otherwise would never fight. I like that open world feel it provides and it feels less linear. In addition I like to search for secrets and like the rich details, street arts, … put into the game.
Anyone struggling with the field recon quickly, just head to the dark zone with the worst targeted loot pool and just clear any landmarks, you will rack them up very quick, it’s also a very good method for watch levels, if you meet any rogues and get killed just move dz’s, again, if you there for loot don’t play dz
Another thing to mention for summit to new players that don't recall hearing in the video. You just need to complete 15 floors and you get a free exotic cache. Simple. correct me if im wrong as it has been a while, When summit first released i think you had to complete 100 floors and defeat the hunters at the end to get that. Then they switched it to just 30 floors no hunters needed...now just 15 floors. So easy now.
Another great video. Catching up on a lot of your content and it’s really helping me get things done even on Solo grinds. A lot of your tales have me doing heroic map all day no matter what. Only dropping down to queue for daily/weekly stuff. Keep up the good work my friend! 🫡

I wouldn’t play this mode for loot, but the raids in this game are sick. I’m an ex Destiny player and what ultimately sold me to get division 2 were their raids. Wish we got another one
The Raids are indeed awesome, I think they did a really great job bringing that concept to a more realistic setting like The Division. Definitely try out the Incursion as well if you haven't! Basically a mini Raid
I really enjoyed playing the game but got pissed off because I could never get any of the good gear featured in build videos. Really did enjoy my turret/drone build.
From my perspective, the primary allure of Endgame lies in its intricate and captivating lore. While other aspects of the game provide momentary enjoyment, it is the lore that compels me to return time and again. However, I must express my current dissatisfaction with the game due to persistent server issues, which manifest as sporadic Delta code errors. I sincerely hope that these technical difficulties will be promptly addressed and resolved.
hmmmm....I would challenge the fact that every 3 or 4 level ControlPoint has 10% chance for exotic item in that main cache? Level 4 maybe something at least close to that but on level 3 no way and not even close. I can remember only two times during the past year or so that I've seen an exotic there and I've done a lot of CP's only level 3 or 4. Or maybe I just play that 90% 🤣😂🤣More often I've got just a random exotic drop from some purple enemy just roaming the open world. But despite this fact I 100% agree that CP's are on top list of things to do in end game. They give you good amount of loot for library and expertise and are a great way to get daily and weekly projects done. And those give XP and exotic components. And of course because it is the key thing in the story, cleaning up the streets of the city and that is done by clearing CP's. Great video again!
If you dont like it don’t do it a lot of people dont min max that grind but I took me about 4 months to get mine max when it came out it’s not bad at all it gives players like me who have played every day for the past 4 years a way to get more powerful and make my builds more fun if you don’t like it don’t do it brother
It's not bad at all... And anyway what were ya going to do with all that gear???? I don't see you're point it's a looter shooter.... It sounds like you're just bored of the game
@RogueGold could you make a little update video? The devs made a little update to the game when you reach level 40 when you leveled up in DC. It took me a little while to figure it out, but apparently you have to talk to the quartermaster when you reach 40 in DC there’s no pop-up message or anything
Yeah they added that back with 21.2, I believe. Don't know how many people need a video on it at this point, but I've been fielding questions about it anytime they come through
Always enjoy your videos. Can you explain why descent wasn't recommended? I found descent helped me understand better how different talents, etc really work since you are basically a blank character in there. And FYI, countdown is probably my favorite game mode.
Thank you! Mainly I left it out due to its divisiveness. I too enjoy it, and think it's a good compliment to the wider game- but there are *many* who truly despise it. Almost anytime I bring it up or show gameplay there are unprompted comments from people conveying their disliking of it, or frustration with how it's set up. So I extrapolated that and assume that the same split is true for the wider playerbase
I have WONY on Xbox but moved to PlayStation to help my dad as he isn’t that great at the game, I haven’t got WONY yet and can’t get it for a while it’s annoying that I can unlock the WONY skills but can’t unlock the base versions so therefore can’t use it
Yeah the Skills you get from WONY remain exclusive to Expansion ownership. Most other things have unlocked for 40 now though from the One Endgame change
@ hunters can disrupt and hack any damage skill (drones, turrets, hives, etc.) and use them to down other agents. Anyone with skill builds aren’t able to contribute against hunters because they can’t deal any damage. Also, as a tip, don’t call extraction as soon as you get to the extraction point. Wait until there’s 10 seconds or less on the timer. This is an issue that a lot of us vets encounter with newer agents.

Recommending Summit but not Descent is WILD (to me). There's really only 2 reasons to even bother with Summit now, Ridgeway's & The Capacitor. Otherwise Countdown is infinitely more efficient for loot. Descent meanwhile because it is a standalone Roguelike mode, can be done right away without ANY endgame gear or builds established because it's completely self contained and uses its own systems. And while I have major issues with the Mode's deeper scaling, the fact is you can easily and fairly reliably reach and defeat The Nemesis within 30 minutes just by taking all easy doors for a free Exotic cache and a crapload of SHD XP + NSA credits that can be used to purchase reconstructed caches for Dark Zone exclusives (which btw, also drop from Conflict caches I'm amazed you left that tidbit out) Oh and for all the lore junkies Descent also has some of the juiciest comms you can unlock once a week by defeating the Nemesis.
Personally I agree with you that Descent is pretty worthwhile, and quite different compared to the game's other experiences. Main reason I left it off is because of how divisive it is. Anytime I bring it up in a video, or sometimes even just have gameplay of it- there's endless comments about how much they despise it, or it just doesn't jive with their preferred way to spend time playing the game. So I extrapolated that and assumed it would be a similar split amongst the wider community
@@RogueGold To be honest that's basically what I assumed, I just felt compelled to point it out. Not everyone is a fan of roguelikes and that is perfectly fine. But it is a worthwhile mode if nothing else for the weekly comms that have been getting spicier as time goes on. The main reason I brought it up is again, the fact that no progression whatsoever is required you can just jump right in as soon as you hit 40 and not feel guilty about being unable to contribute.
No worries! While using 4-pieces of the Ongoing Directive gear set, each kill you get to a bleeding target will grant one magazine size's worth of Hollow Point 👍
there was an update where player who have not bought the expansion pack get to play these missions so do I have to play the full game in order to get it cause when I go to the pilot it still makes me go to the store
The WONY expansion was not made free, the change they made was including it with your base Division 2 purchase if someone were to purchase the game digitally after the change was made in June of this year. You still need to buy it separately if you did not own it before that date
@Coolranchdoritos281 Hmm. I had heard that there might be a bug with that for characters who got to 40 without WONY, it might be tied to that. I'll see if I can dig anything up on that
You should but know that some people will kick players with low SHD levels. Some people are just d*cks like that. I've been on Countdown runs where the majority of the group are low SHD level without issue.
@@vking8372 I would try it a lower level normal or hard to get the lay of the land. But i always go on Challenging on CD at watch level 6550. Heroic is not necessary unless you are trying to flex. The loot isn't that much better than challenging. Just follow the crowd and you'll get through it easy enough.
I like the main game, means missions and open world. The same in endgame. The modes don’t contribute to the main game (except loot/rewards). The main game does not improve when a mode is added. These are basically separate games making use of the DNA of the main game. Summit: I can’t stand it. Extremely boring setting combined with technical gameplay frippery. Countdown: I hate time-restricted activities. It’s chaotic, always having 5 people in front of my gun if I want to shoot and always playing the same thing? No, boring as hell. Very seldom play this mode. Conflict: sometimes I play the weekly project but I didn’t recognize that you get a lot XP from it as you say. Conflict XP yes but not much SHD XP, considering the time needed. But I play it occasionally. Not because of PvP but to play a bit on the nice five (?) Conflict maps. I way more enjoy replaying Division 1 campaign than wasting time playing any of the Division 2 modes.
I started playing it again as well about 2-months ago as I just got tired of Div2. Endgame in Div1 consists of the Incursions, Legendary missions, and working on Shields as well as Classifieds. That's about it. If you want a qualtity, active Division 1 TH-camr look no further than Livid Fray. She is still cranking out vids to this day.
I found livid fray yesterday I was surprised some one still playing the game I might take a run. Myself after I do my level 40 run to get more materials and to boost expertise up. Some one did mention expertise is B's it has u chasing a number were u don't even use 85 % percent of the gears or gun. So to me it's useless especially when you a low level going against a high level. It makes no sense. It should be about your play style how div1 was n kept refreshing the game. Send gt so we could link up on any platform I'm down to run some division 1

And while I have major issues with the Mode's deeper scaling, the fact is you can easily and fairly reliably reach and defeat The Nemesis within 30 minutes just by taking all easy doors for a free Exotic cache and a crapload of SHD XP + NSA credits that can be used to purchase reconstructed caches for Dark Zone exclusives (which btw, also drop from Conflict caches I'm amazed you left that tidbit out)
Oh and for all the lore junkies Descent also has some of the juiciest comms you can unlock once a week by defeating the Nemesis.
How is your hollow ammo replenishing (sorry im 3 months late i just got to lvl 40 and trying to take this all in)
No worries! While using 4-pieces of the Ongoing Directive gear set, each kill you get to a bleeding target will grant one magazine size's worth of Hollow Point 👍
@@RogueGold appreciate you taking the time to respond thank you
there was an update where player who have not bought the expansion pack get to play these missions so do I have to play the full game in order to get it cause when I go to the pilot it still makes me go to the store
The WONY expansion was not made free, the change they made was including it with your base Division 2 purchase if someone were to purchase the game digitally after the change was made in June of this year. You still need to buy it separately if you did not own it before that date
@@RogueGold oh I I’ve had for a few years since launch so I’m good then huh??
cache, is it ca-shey? or cash? im really confused how to pronounce this..
Most people I know say "cash," but I can't claim that that's fully correct 😄
Hello hope you doing good and I can’t wait to get ps5 because I got so much on my character on ps and I miss old friends
Sup Rogue/enticing
hardcore mode?
why are my control points not going to level 3 when i change to challenging?
When did you begin playing the game? Has the character you're playing on played the WONY expansion, or did you get to 40 without it?
@@RogueGoldi started playing 2019 but then i just returned last week. i got level 40 then beat the WONY
@Coolranchdoritos281 Hmm. I had heard that there might be a bug with that for characters who got to 40 without WONY, it might be tied to that. I'll see if I can dig anything up on that
9:29 LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
should i do countdown if im level 75
You should but know that some people will kick players with low SHD levels. Some people are just d*cks like that. I've been on Countdown runs where the majority of the group are low SHD level without issue.
@vking8372 Totally!
@@RogueGold what would you recommend the difficulty be for that level
@@vking8372 I would try it a lower level normal or hard to get the lay of the land. But i always go on Challenging on CD at watch level 6550. Heroic is not necessary unless you are trying to flex. The loot isn't that much better than challenging. Just follow the crowd and you'll get through it easy enough.
@@AgentGeothanks
For the ppl that matchmake for Countdown and then spawn in at the site and leave. Keep it up
Summit all the floors look the same
Yeah my biggest disliking with it is the environments
Division 3!!!???😂
🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
The best content to play after reaching the endgame of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Ohh my God you’re one funny guy .
You know that if new players with less than 1k shd, they will 99% of the time get kicked.
*FOMO*
😅 you've been itching to use that line for years haven't you. Bang for your buck?
this game, is and has been, dead.
It is, in fact, not. :)
I started playing the division 1 again. Will there be a guide to the endgame to? 🥹
Thanks, man. I appreciate it
I found livid fray yesterday I was surprised some one still playing the game I might take a run.
@joserperez3133 This isn't the first request I've gotten to do one, so maybe it'll have to happen 👀
