They're also highly symbolic. They maybe headphones, but they cover their eyes showing how incredibly focused he is on the Sound. In a sense, he's drowning all of his senses and sense in wanting to escape the sound.

This is extremely good. I've seen good source movies before. But this is just too good, everything is spot on. A really good representation of the lyrics, great sync with the singing and instruments, and just a perfectly fitting atmosphere in the video to match the music and lyrics. This is perfection. And your other videos are just the same quality.

The versatility of those earmuff/hearing protectors is amazing. In this video alone, they're used as a vizor type thing and shackles. And then there's their intended use, hearing protection earmuffs, and (what they're actually used for by players) headphones.
I'd like to think there's alot of symbolism like in the beginning of the song all the scouts are in red blue order except one spot where there's 2 red like there should be a blue there then near the end of the song where the one scout was holding his head like he was breaking out like the blue scout was getting through to him Idk I could be over thinking it
