Your videos are absolutely beautiful...incredibly helpful and just a pleasure to watch and listen too...Thank you and I also LOVE Daniel Smiths Burnt Sienna, one of my favs, if not my favourite! Great video. Thanks for sharing:)♥️
I really love your watercolour mixing videos. I have umpteen tubes in various brands because I don’t know how to mix everything. This is very, very helpful!
DS Burnt Sienna is my fav burnt sienna, too, love the pink undertones which are perfect for urban sketching. I can always warm it up with Quin Gold or Nickel Azo Yellow if I want the WN orangey look. Thanks for doing these comparisons, they're very helpful.
How odd. My M Graham Burnt Sienna is not at all transparent but more semi opaque. Thanks for this, I just ordered a tube of DS. I just found you today and immediately subscribed. I can't wait to watch your channel grow! You're pleasing to listen to and obviously knowledgeable. You're going to do great.
I can’t live without WN PR101. I always use tubes. I like the lightness of it. They call it Burnt Sienna but It’s really not. I am not fond of M Graham PR101,Red Iron Oxide because its more brown than WN. My favorite true Burnt Sienna PBr7 is from Holbein. Thanks for sharing 🙂
I do really like the tone of WN burnt sienna and the tube works much better for me than the pan did. I'm not sure If my pan could be defective? It's funny I'm reviewing the wn watercolor markers and I love their burnt sienna in marker form . Its lovely . Thanks for watching 😊
Hello! 👋 I'm so curious to hear if you have tried the St. Petersburg White Nights "Shakhnazarskaya Red" (and possibly also their "Red Ochre" which is a little more orange), because I find it very similar to the W&N one, though a bit more easy to rewet and a little more intense. Plus, it's cheaper! I'd be interested to hear your experiences if you have any of them! 😊
lol.. anyone who would "attack", as you put it, a person for saying their disappointed in a watercolor pigment is not worth your time of day. A healthy discussion regarding differences would be the way to go. Question pls: how did you find two M. Graham Burnt Siennas? I can only locate the PBr-7.
My W&N burnt sienna doesn t look like at all to your paint, i m wondering if you haven t made a mistake during the video. Burnt sienna from W&N is far more reddish.
My favorite Burnt Sienna is Holbein. It's PBr7. I prefer the true traditional Sienna hue that looks earthy orange. To me Daniel Smith doesn't even look like the true Burnt Sienna. It's too brown with a pink undertone. It looks like an off Burnt Umber to me. I don't care for the color at all and Im not accustomed to mixing with that hue. I was painting in oils back in 1971 at age 15. I know what the real traditional Burnt Sienna is supposed to look like. Winser and Newton is only slightly more orange than the d traditional PBr7. My W&N is horrible to rewet also unless I put a couple drops of glycerin on the pan 1st. Mine is darker than yours though. You got a dud. Still, Holbein is the most beautiful perfect PBr7 to me.

Thanks , no I have both the tube and the pan but I purchased them a few years back , perhaps they changed it ?
@@nicolemartinart5819 I don t know, but i ve made my own swatch colors from W&N and it looks like to yellowish to me
@@SMazu-cl4uu it could be due to differences in screen monitor colors , ect .
