They're not underrated, they just never sold out! True creativity and a sound out-of-this-world! I recommend watching them live. There's magic in between the drums in the notes! 🎶 🪄🎶

Amazing! I love it. Thank you everyone who put this together. SSPU acoustic sets are my favorite. I really like the whole band but there is something raw and beautiful about these ones. Mix sounds great as well😊

This is one of those bands I remember hearing back in 2006 and thinking I should check them out. Then I completely forgot about them. A few years back I bought Carnavas and cannot believe how much I love this band. I just keep buying albums and loving them. Better late than never.
The whole album is fire! X & Joe & Brian & Nikki especially (yay!) I am loving the story/mood mix start to finish - Me? I'm ok, less alone & super prepared with awesome tunes - p.s. getting the Gang of Four feels.
Empty Nest sounds great in acoustic!

This rules! Their mtv unplugged started this precedent where they try to bang out the song acoustic exactly as the full band version. It’s absolutely enviable to not have it be this churning Layla slowed down drivel and im totally here for it. And nice work letting nikki roll with the el capitan
I love how there acoustic shows sound like an entire production when it's really just the two of them! It's magical
@@MrB33stNg Yeah, Brian has stated in interviews that he likes to try and play more than one part during the acoustic numbers to make it seem more like the originals.
I was so happy to go to my 3rd sspu show in Dallas this year. They just get better. They are just friends making music which resonates❤

It's a lyric from a song by them - Lazy Eye. Probably one of their most popular songs and it wasn't included in this set.

The Hummingbird sounds great when properly miked. I guess Gibson understands their own guitars and how to get the best sound through the system. Never heard it sound this good, especially the low range which comes through so well on this. They are always a treat acoustically, and make such a great acoustic duo!

I am a fan of theirs but not real familiar with their lesser-known material so this was good. Unfortunately the guitar is too hot in the mix, for me anyway. I have a hard time hearing the bass. I play guitar and bass so I like to hear the bass.
I enjoyed hearing the full range of that guitar for a change. Much of its big sound is usually lost in the mix.
SSPU's could sing the phone book and it would be a masterpiece
