Well things are moving forward. That was really good of Craig. I went to look at a 1955 saloon today,I think I want a later model though. The car was very nice and original. Glad you got out of the mud at Strumpshaw!!!!!!
Hopefully get the engine in George soon. Good luck with finding a good car. Craig is a very kind person. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment 🤓👍
hi mate i just bought a airassist brake bleeder to use on my motorbike so when i do my georges front/rear brakes i,m going to try it sucking fluid thru was $80 aud
Most vehicles with the master cylinder up in the engine bay you can get away with just opening the bleed screw and wait for the fluid to flow with gravity but the Moggy is same level or bit lower. Good luck with your George. 🤓👍
The problem with the brake bleeding is down to the design & orientation of the wheel slave cylinders, one is mounted upside down and the in/out share the same drilling, air will always be trapped. Bench priming the slave cylinder will help, as will removing the back plate and laying this down on its side. Poor design and what should be a very easy job is made very time-consuming & frustrating! Cracking open the pipework leading up to each slave cylinder to remove air in the line will help too.
Great work, glad that you’ve had lovely help from people. Engine bay looks brilliant!
Getting there now. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching 🤓👍

Nice work. While the engine is out and easily accessible try and do what do you can and take advantage of it.
