Assalamualaikum brother, I am an American revert that had no knowledge in Arabic, but due to your content I have learned a lot and insha'Allah one day I become fluent in Arabic and become an Imam. Jazakallah brother.
🤗 I'm an American-born convert I started learning Arabic when I was 50. You are the best teacher ever for Arabic and tajweed. I truly love you for the sake of Allah I tell everyone that you're the best teacher on the TH-cam channel. You don't tell us your name or where you're from but I think you're from Egypt. I studied Quran and tajweed there and I think that you should direct the entire program.
Barak Allahu feekum and jazakum Allahu khairan for your kind words. Alhamdulilah, whatever is good it is from Allah alone. May Allah accept the efforts and make them solely for His Sake. Amen.
Wallah, what l have learned on your channel outweighs what l learned in my Madrasah. I am a revert, may Allah accept it as an act of worship. Aamin I love you Lillahi.
Your way of explaining made everything click so effortlessly. It’s like a guiding light for those of us trying to improve. May Allah reward you for spreading such beneficial knowledge. Please keep enlightening us with more videos like this, as they are truly a treasure for learners!
I always thought why R in IŘJIEE ٱرۡجِعِىٓ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَّرۡضِيَّةً is heavy … thanks for explaining everything so beautifully. 💕 Jazak Allāh Khaira
Sheikh, there are a few rules I think need to be added : First, if ر is ساكنة and preceded by (ي لين ) at the end of words as in (خَيْر) should ALWAYs be pronounced as light letter Secondly, ر in (لَبِالْمِرْصَاد ) is always pronounce heavey as one of the exceptions جزاك الله خيرا شيخنا و السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
It’s comes under the rule of a heavy letter after raa saakinah so it’s in the group of heavy sounds. The word in itself isn’t an exception because there’s more like this like الأرض
Bārak-Allāhu fīk dear brother for the excellent lesson. I have to small but important corrections: 1. It is important to note that similar to how the Rā is heavy after a Hamzat-ul-Qaṭʿ, it is also heavy after a Kasra from a separate word and if the Kasra is "not real", which I'll explain in a moment. For example, in منِ ارتضى the Rā is heavy inspite of being after a Kasra, which is first because the من is a separate word and secondly because the word نم originally has a Sukūn on the Nūn, but gets a Kasra due to the word after. Of course, this is actually also after a Hamzat-ul-Qaṭʿ but it is important to note since in this case, the Rā is heavy although you don't pronounce the Hamzat-ul-Qaṭʿ. 2. The exceptions mentioned in 3:50 are missing two, which always need to be heavy: Mirṣād in both cases (i.e. إن ربك لبالمرصاد، إن جهنم كانت مرصادا). Also, the you can chose between heavy and light in the words Miṣr and Qiṭr only when stopping. When continuing the explained rule applies and they are heavy. Similarly, for Yasr and Nuḏur they are only (said to be, this is not a unanimous opinion and personally, I disagree following Šayḫ Ayman Suwayd) exceptions when stopping and when you continue they must be light. Firq is the only real exception, no matter if you stop or not.
زادك الله علمًا ونفع بك أُمَّة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم تبارك الرحمن دايما شرحك مختصر ومفيد جدا. أثابك الله كل خير وفي والديك وفي كل من علمك آمين يا رب العالمين
The reason why the 3 words (إرصادا ، قرطاس ، فرقة) Have heavy ر it's because there is a heavy letter after them. And it's a rule that u can apply in all words like مرصاد for example Except for the word فِرقٍ in surah الشعراء ﴿فكان كل فِرقٍ كالطود العظيم﴾ It has both ways. Heavy or empty. Because ق is a weak heavy letter (منفتح) also it has kasra...
All of these words have Heavy ر >> according to the Riwayah of Hafs. That's what I am explaining in this lesson. In other Riwayat (Warsh), however, these are indeed light ر but that was not what the lesson was about.
Please help me to understand At word سير This is leen (Raw) will be sukoon when stopped Before that there is sukoon again preceded by fathah So will not be heavy Like word عصر JazakAllahu Khair
5:02 except the word "ظـٰهرة" if you recite with رواية ورش عن نافع then the "ر" is actually pronounced light, not heavy. I really like you're videos and I learn from you a lot, but please in Tajweed lessons adress that some rules you teach doesn't apply to all qira'at, especially ورش عن نافع because it has a lot of differences compared to other qira'at. Thank you for your efforts.
please explain when qasra or ya is preceeding but Ra has fathatain at end of ayah e.g. 17:24 sagiira or 17:26 tabdhiira or 17:30 Baseera. JazakAllahu khaira.
I thing it was better if arabic have 2 Ra letters (3letters if we include Za) like in the Tamazighth language we have R and R with a pout under it , but otherwise Arabic is really rich and powerful as a language. It's enogh that it's the Quaran Language .
esselamu aleykum brother, barak Allahu feek. When looking at ra that has to do with kesra. Arent we also supposed to look at the following harf to see if it is heavy or light? Like in مِرْصاد isnt the ra heavy because the sad after ra is heavy? Kinda confused on this.
Wa alikom asslam brother, The ghunnah is correct between عشرٍ والشفع - the problem is that the kasrah (under Ra عشر) should be a tanween. So, alhamdulilah the recitation is accurate.
As salamualejkum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. Barak Allahu feekum for your efforts and useful work. If possible, correct this please (6.18) as it could lead to misunderstanding. Jazzakumullahu khairan. Looking forward to watch more of your content.
In Surah Hud And this is a different Thing altogether :) Ii is called Imala, but I'll be honest with you, If youre learning about ra, Imala is a little early. Just memorize that Majreha ist pronounced Like that
The REAL reason is that it hast been narrated by Tawatur (collective narration Generation after Generation). The secondary reason is that there is a heavy Letter after the Ra. This is the reason also why the 5 (3 mentioned but he forgot 2) words in 3:30 are heavy. OK, so why are those 5 Always heavy and firq can be both? Because the kasra before tugs the Ra to be light while the heavy Letter after tugs it to be heavy
Assalamualaikum brother, I am an American revert that had no knowledge in Arabic, but due to your content I have learned a lot and insha'Allah one day I become fluent in Arabic and become an Imam. Jazakallah brother.

By the way I’m Arab but when you explained I have understood it better than before thanks! 4:20

Can you make a video about the ر differences between Hafs and Warsh?
Look up "Al Shatibiyyah lesson 19", you'll get an in-depth explanation of all the rules of Al ra'
إِنَّنِي أَنَا اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاعْبُدْنِي وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِكْرِي

Please explain why these words have light ر as follows: كُوِّرَتْ and سُيِّرَتْ and حُشِرَتْ and سُجِّرَتْ

also follow this rule
Please help me to understand
At word سير

Please can you rectify the pronunciation of Faatiha ihidinaa

Subhanallah beautifully explained
Thank you for making it simple for people 💕 like me ❤❤❤
That is one important video which helps me alot. Thanks ❤👍

JazakAllahu khaira.
qasra or ya preceeding and fathah or damma on top of Ra : the fathah/damma cancel the qasra. Correct ?
good❤
Shukuran ❤
this guy is very good at teaching in a short and informative time
Could you please do a video on أوجه الوقف? They are always the hardest questions in Tajweed exams. Like, how many أوجه وقف does the word السماءُ have?
What about ر with tashdeed... please explain about this...jazak Allah hu khairan kaseera
Same principle brother .. You look at what's on it, and decide.
Example if ر shaddah has fattah and letter م before it has kasra when reading the letter ر with م kasra still ,,ر will be heavy?
@tahseenfatima5902 yes exactly
In this case you read 2 ر
The first sakina as heavy then the next with kasra as heavy also
And Allah knows best.
I am learning so much from your channel. May Allah reward you abundantly for the work you do ❤
Could you add the rules from another riwayah like Warsh a'n Nafi'.
Cause there is different rules from Hafs an A'sim.
i think he's primarily a hafs an asim teacher.
Thanks alot
Please could you share a good book
Assalaam alaykum
I'm from Tanzania, can you teach us about madda?
Please explain Mufti Tariq Masood quotes about surah iqra

Why are these 3 words exceptions? Jazakallahu Kheiran
I thing it was better if arabic have 2 Ra letters (3letters if we include Za) like in the Tamazighth language we have R and R with a pout under it , but otherwise Arabic is really rich and powerful as a language.
It's enogh that it's the Quaran Language .
I struggle to pronounce ر And غ these letter seem similar to me any video to help me out
3:47 so in hafs the word مِصْرَ can be pronounced as both misra and misro?
I believe since the ر has a َ it will always be *misra* , but how you say the ر itself differs not the tashkeel w Allahu A'lam
no, it's always misra and then it will always be heavy. When you stop on it, though, then it becomes misr and then the ra can be heavy or light
6:20 wa layaalin 'ashr *in* wa
Is the tanween there after 'ashr? and do ikhfaa?
Jazak Allah Khair?
Tanween and idhgaam
esselamu aleykum brother, barak Allahu feek. When looking at ra that has to do with kesra. Arent we also supposed to look at the following harf to see if it is heavy or light? Like in مِرْصاد isnt the ra heavy because the sad after ra is heavy? Kinda confused on this.
In surah naba', the word مرصادا is also heavy despite م having a kasra right?
its in the video, one of the exceptions to the rule...
Assalamualaikum, did you make a mistake applying ghunna at 6:18 ?
Wa alikom asslam brother,
The ghunnah is correct between عشرٍ والشفع - the problem is that the kasrah (under Ra عشر) should be a tanween.
What about the one exception majreeha in surah al baqarah where ر is light even tho ot has fatha
In Surah Hud
And this is a different Thing altogether :)
Ii is called Imala, but I'll be honest with you, If youre learning about ra, Imala is a little early. Just memorize that Majreha ist pronounced Like that
This is the only imalah in Hafs an Asim recitation, the way its recited is very unique.
6:30 shouldn't it be kasratain in the second ayat? In any case it was read with Idgham bi ghunnah, so it can't be a kasrah, but a kasratain?
What about مجرىها ? Is it pronounced as /r/ or /rˤ/ ?
Here's the full answer: th-cam.com/video/-IBARGLjiDo/w-d-xo.html&t=
From the video, it sounds to me as /r/. But if i'm wrong, please correct me.
Mumtaz
Can someone explain why the word درس is pronounced with a light ر, even though there is no kasra?
Where my brothers and sisters at that recite in riwayah warsh?
"more rule learning is directly proportional to slower Quran recitation"
Correct. Good
When it becomes second nature to you then you wont be actively thinking about the rules, it will just come naturally.
❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi
This is discouraging, I thought ra was always pronounced ra, now I learn there's 14 rules to it
Discouraging or good ? Because now Allah has removed your mistakes and lack of knowledge that many will live and die upon. Be grateful.
That's only for the Quran
But fir qa and fir oun is same so why difference?
The REAL reason is that it hast been narrated by Tawatur (collective narration Generation after Generation).
The secondary reason is that there is a heavy Letter after the Ra.
This is the reason also why the 5 (3 mentioned but he forgot 2) words in 3:30 are heavy. OK, so why are those 5 Always heavy and firq can be both? Because the kasra before tugs the Ra to be light while the heavy Letter after tugs it to be heavy
Sorry I Made an Error. I meant the reason why there is a choice is because the heavy Letter itself (after the Ra) has a kasra
QAAF is heavy so that makes the Raa be heavy whereas AYN isn’t
And all praise belongs to Allah. There is no strength and power in anyone except Allah Almighty
I can’t tell the difference
Thanks a lot....💓
Good class and very well explained but honestly I can't hear the difference between the heavy r and the light r. It's all the same to me.
❤❤❤
