To be perfectly honest, this is quite possibly my favorite opening to a video game... ever. And yet, I've had little to no exposure to the entirety of Dragon Quest. Hell, I only just got the game today as a gift from a friend. And yet, this singular piece of orchestral wonder is so moving, and triumphant, and magical that it's already brought me to tears within the first few times I've listened to it while watching the opening cinematic. I can aleady tell that I'm in for one wild adventure, and I couldn't be more happier to have it accompanied by such an enthralling score.
I think people said it about the PS4 version, it wasn't orchestral like this is and now that this is the more popular version people are seeing how good the music is :)
