Late Summer Spotted Bass - August 2023

Fly fishing a creek in Louisiana for Spotted Bass. The water is warm but the bass are still eager to bite, as are the longear sunfish and channel catfish.

I went to the comite yesterday and the core of engineers crew was removing trees at Blackwater, so its jacked up there now.

Strange, I know they have been working on Bayou Fountain, wouldn’t think that kind of work is needed on the Comite. Thanks for the heads up
