I've already had people telling me it's bad because attackers will no longer be able to win games. This exposes a lack of awareness about the true dilemma with asymmetrical ticket bleed. You'll often find that if one team destroyed 3-5 more AIs and got more bombing score, they'll still be losing in the endgame because one side's AI dies quicker. Also, tickets will still be the deciding factor in the game's outcome in case someone plays uber-passive and hits the 25 minute timer.

I see far too often someone at the end of the game just sitting and repeatedly bailing every time you go to attack them, and theres nothing you can do. personally I think a 5-7 minute limit for being on the airfield would be good, as even major repairs take at most 3 minutes.
@@toast1172 The reason it says 'no active players alive' when the game ends is because Gaijin changed it to where the enemy team will start losing on 'No Active Players Left' if the last guy has been on the airfield for 100 seconds or more. This is a big help because what you're describing used to happen very often - 1 guy would sit on the runway and J out whenever you approached him. Eventually, you'd get knocked out by the hitscan base triple-A. Now we have base camping with rolands since they are very hard to dodge during the current patch. I'd like base AA to be heavily nerfed or removed, and airfields spread apart like on the old air France map, but that's another video.

The new maps are stale and I don't like their color palettes, but the gameplay of most maps is fundamentally the same since they all have similar geography with the exception of Pyrenees and that new Mountain Pass map. Base bombing doesn't make sense, in my opinion. Getting max skill bonus doubles your RP when you're playing without premium account, and it gives you +33% RP when playing with premium account. I don't see why I would sacrifice having fun to mindlessly base bomb, which no longer nets much higher RP rewards than maining a fighter, and does no service to your team.

And if enemy will want to engage you and vice versa, game wont end suddenly and prematurely because AI decided to destroy all ground units.

I'm happy about that change coming to dev. Wish they could make the current 13.7s 14.0 BR and introduce Euro at 14.3 but I know they won't do that.
