Wanna clarify something really quick. Made a community post yesterday talking about these videos and how I'm trying to slim them down. Caused slight confusion. Currently with the way I talk about these figures, the videos are always going to be long and atm that's ok. I just want to get to the point faster lol. Like this video is almost 90 minutes and I didn't have time to talk about Nendoroids this month. It's not that I didn't want to, but the recording was extremely long and I kinda reached my limit by that point.
Ultimately I just want to improve my content. Make it more digestible and enjoyable for anyone that decides to click. It's a little tricky when you turn on the camera and just start yappin(I know for a fact I say stupid things in this video that I caught while editing lol) for hours and then trim it down, but I can see room for improvement and would like to work on that for future vids
If you're going to make long videos, could you please place time stamps? I know it's more work for you, but it's less daunting for me when it's split into sections.

I also had the idea of the spacesuit Ram looking over the Lego 60350 set (minusminifigs)
So many cool stuff and scenes to build still 😅, but figures I’m almost done with🌝
Did you pay for Baltimore early, or did you get the later updated shipping prices. Though I chose surface premium anyway, opening that fig can wait until spring at this point. ❄️❄️❄️

The last figure of Elysia is symbolic of her love and sacrifice being "married to humanity", her Herrscher form is indeed inspired from a wedding dress. She is an extremely beloved character and the quick tl;dr is that she is basically Honkai Jesus in the literal sense 😂

I'm so happy Yakuza figures are being made, but I also agree they aren't quite what most fans were looking for. I pray they make more! I'd love an action pose of them tearing their jackets off or even the Karaoke looks from some of the games 😂.

I collect a lot of Freeing bunnies I only have 2 bare leg versions and generally won't buy bare leg versions. I've always said they just need to change the suit color and keep the fishnets in order not to mess up the OG collectability.

For Nobara yes its a really cool pose and cool scene in the anime but as you said the face is weird and also a very key detail, they completely removed the Rose flower tatoo from the posion like in the anime. Thats me one gripe more so then the face

every new Blue Archive is splash art is going for flat color palete .
they even change Minori splash art from 3D-ish shading -> Flat 2D just like what you saw with Yuuka (the one you reviewing)
and i see nothing wrng with it, I like it alot , the color is every charcter color is pastel-ish and very calming theme
The Sonico cat figure actually has a Black cat ver. where she's actually tanned color and wearing black which IMHO looks SO GOOD but it was a limited Wonfes 2019 ver with only 100 pieces so she goes for a very pretty penny.
That sounds much nicer than the white version, even though I still think this version is appealing enough

33:44 I instantly preordered her, haven’t got a clue who she is but just love that figure. I’m a huge fan of Kotobukiya, I think they’re my favourite company, they just have such great poses, nice bases, brilliant likeness to the characters & a great price.
yup the akali figure is for a line up of figures you can find the first of the line up as ahri kda fig if you can see the base with that figure you'll understand why they have thatkind of bases.
Finally, the Sonic Soldier Borgman Anice Farm is up for preorder! Ive been waiting on her since the last time she was mentioned on your videos. Honestly, I agree on how she turned out as an odd mixture of 80/90s and modern style but I dont mind it as much since she IS technically a modern take of her older swimsuit figure from the same manufacture; WAVE, Beach Queens line. Im just happy because Anice was one of my first anime crushes when I was a child and its not very often companies make 80/90s anime figures. Her added plumpness is just an extra-cherry on top for me lol
I'm sure if I knew who she was I would have been more enthusiastic about her even getting a figure. Always nice to see a throwback

The Ito Life figure is of the vituber persona of...Ito Life the illustrator/manga artist, that kinda explains why she doesnt have a very specific theme. Oh, and the Miki race queen is actually a rerelease; as long as you don't care about details you can get the original release for dirt cheap (they sculpted her unit number wrong on the first batch and it super-tanked because of that)

Yeah white was just the easier one to get and the newer release at the time, but now Red is back on the menu. Good thing too since it's def better imo

Yeah I actually beat it and Grandia 1 like, last month lol. I'm not sure which one I enjoyed more but they were both better than I expected and are gonna stick with me as jrpgs that I'd easily recommend to anyone. I hear 3 isn't that great though so I'm kinda worried about starting it lol
Apex's Remilia was literally a grail of mine (previously a gk) It fits what I look for in a figure so well and I also love collecting dolls too so i guess thats also why XD I literally screamed when I saw that they were doing her, never thought Apex of all companies would be doing her as well!

I have a fair amount of FREEing figures and personally don't really care too much if they do rereleases since I can play the long game and just wait till a particular bunny goes down in price or just grab for the bare legged figure. Sometimes, the barelegged version looks superior (in my opinion) like Shera Greenwood. Allowing more folks to grab it so there isn't a gigantic price gouge on people's wallet with some of the bunnies reaching $500+ from scalpers would also be nice.
Rereleases are ultimately for the best. Anyone who would argue against that is usually just thinking about themselves whether it be for profit or owning "rare" figures. I do feel like FREEing often plays into FOMO hard though, which leads to higher prices later on

Oh yeah, I'm definitely super happy about the Vivy figure. I agree that she's a bit simple and her paint job could be better, but after whatever that Nendoroid was this feels a lot more...proper. And I guess this is about as good as it will get if it's about a Vivy figure.
That said I still have some serious trust issues when it comes to Shanghai, so I'll probably wait until release to pick her up.
I couldn't say no to that Senbonzakura Miku though. I've been debating if I wanted to pick up her Nendoroid when this came around due to the design, but I really don't mind the more vibrant colors. If anything they compliment her pretty eyes very well which kinda sold me on this figure in the first place (funnily enough the original design has almost black eyes). Also really happy with the price, but considering this'll come out 2025 I'll be waiting here for a while.
You did a great job here once again and if it's about the video format I don't mind the longer ones. For some reason your videos are super easy to watch and to listen to (especially if they are a little bit longer) and I really enjoy that.
My experience with Shanghai is very limited so I'd personally wait it out too just incase

The only one from this list I preordered is the Remilia by Apex. I loved the GK before and was over the moon when the figure was announced! I don't know anything about Touhou really, but I like Remilia's design in general. I'm also into lolita fashion and am always on the lookout for figures that do this kind of style well. I just think she's gorgeous!
The other figure I like is that mermaid one. I've been eyeing a listing for the Myethos little mermaid figure, but now I'm thinking that this Doria has a similar vibe.
If you can't tell my main concern with figures is the design/aesthetic and, with some exceptions here and there, I don't care much who the character is. So I'm gonna have to decide which mermaid I like better I think.
This was a quiet month for me. Nice figures for sure but nothing I wanted to commit to preordering. Recently Preordered Alter's Remilia and since I already have one in my collection, I really don't need three lol
The blue tint on the Emma scale from Nikke is pretty strange considering the actual design of her doesn't have that dark blue of a tint. Not sure if this is something they plan to fix or if they incorporated the darker blue tint based on some artwork that I have never seen before (and considering Emma is a top 3 favorite Nikke for me, I've seen alot of art of the character) but most of the character's art depictions lack any sign of that blue. Maybe a lighter tint of blue would have worked better.
It's a little over done compared to the art, bit hopefully it looks nice enough in the final product

I like garage kits but have very little experience with them unfortunately. The only one I have is prepainted but one day I'd like to get more into that side of the hobby

Majima is the best one for sure. Hope you're enjoying the batshit twists with Kiwami 2, the series has ridiculous stories but its all in great fun. I've been steadily going through the series, currently on 5, though already played 7. They churn out the games so fast I feel like I'll never catch up. The advantage of reuse ga gotoku lmao. If you enjoy the games I'd recommend the Judgment games, its a bit more serious with that familiar DNA.
Getting into fate figures? Oh no, hide your damn wallet, cause it'll suffer with the amount of quality figures that's produced
Kiwami 2 has been fun, def better than 1. My pace is so slow that I'll never catch up especially with what I heard about 5 being such a massive game lol
I think the Nobara looks exactly like she did in the scene this is modeled after!
I'd have to rewatch the specific scene again. I know alot of people dislike the face, but thankfully that doesn't matter if you like it

Grim Aloe is not my type, but hot damn almost every one of her figures is fire.
The thing with the Yu-Gi-Oh! figures is that we are finally getting a variaty of monsters (and not just Dark Magician Girl hahaha) but yeah, Sky Striker is basically one of the waifu decks, although I believe it was also good so she also has that 😂
I'm loving all the monster variety lately. Too many to keep up with, but long overdue for some of these iconic monsters to get figures
On the Nikke's Alice figure, I don't think it's a seamline (well, it is, but it's justified), it serves to distinguish her body from the leggings. The two pinks may be slightly different to accentuate the difference. Though I admit the illustration doesn't seem to have leggings but a full body suit. It doesn't bother me as it is, because it breaks the pinkiness of the suit, a bit boring otherwise maybe.
I don't think it's a deal breaker. My eyes can't see much of a difference in color. I can see your point though

For some reason I just can't recall seeing the first figure. When did she come out?
@@ZuccoFigures Ahri came out on Auguest(China)/September(world) of 2022, so it's been quite a while. The base is also of the same irregular polygon style and is super wide in the front. I mean she'd demand quite a bit of space due to the size of her tail and her base would be larger than normal due to the weight of her tail but it's still excessive in the end.
I'm struggling to see how the base would "fit" together if at all, it seems the result would at best still be an irregular polygon based on the two I see. But we would need the other two's base shape and potentially an offical attempt to be sure.

What’s yours Will? Do you mean that’s releasing this month? For me it’s definitely the Bombergirl Aqua by Amakuni, it’s one of my favourite figures ever, I can’t wait to get her. Then my second favourite is Roxy by Phat Company, she was supposed to be released last month but she got delayed to this month, actually saved me some money as I had a lot more figures last month.
There was nothing I felt like I really needed to preorder, but probably Nazumi from FREEing or Shiromi Iori from Spiritale. They'd be nice in the collection

For the Hobby Max Grils’ Frontline figures pricing, I just checked their official weibo in Chinese and it’s 899 RMB which is about 18250 JPY or 126 USD. It’s a Chinese company so price is higher in Japan, but this is definitely way too expensive on Japanese retailers.
Ah it's one of those situations. What a bummer, but I guess that means there is a way to get them cheaper which is good

Don't know Idolmaster, but do know Fumika from fanart. I preordered her figure because I love her comfy bookworm vibe. Planning to put it on any shelf with books.
That Jean Bart is also very tempting. Kimonos, katanas, and a beautiful French woman (I have a French last name). I didn't preorder it because I had Fumika for that month, but if I see it drop in price like the other Azur Lane figures seemed to, I'm picking it up.
Really hard to preorder azur Lane figures these days considering even the best ones seem to get cheaper over time
@@ZuccoFigures Debating canceling that Ying Swei I have preordered in 2025 now. It seems the maker's stuff also drops in price. Though the normal Ying Swei doesn't seem to have dropped much since its release, so I don't know.
Fumika's origin seems to drop in price generally, but then I found a figure of her in a swimsuit on AmiAmi that was a pretty penny well after its release.
Preorders are a gamble, I guess, but I like the idea that if I pick up anything else that month I have a box already being set up. So I got something every month so far.
Though I do admit if any of those massive Azur Lane fox girls in their original clothing go up for pre-order (which is just Musashi so far), I will have no hesitation nor will I care about the price. That is how much I like fox girls.
Fun fact, if you look at when Mikasa originally released in 2015 the yen was a lot stronger, so before tax she was $140 USD, and with the rerelease she is $155 (at the time of posting this). It isn't as much of a markup as it looks to be. Also I am pretty sure the factories in China usually are paid in USD. So that may be something too.
That's a good point. The exchange rate is certainly helping us Americans big time, though I can only imagine how frustrating some of these prices must feel for anyone living in Japan.
@@ZuccoFigures Oh yeah, it is really bad for anyone who is paying in Yen and it isn't very fair to them. I just see a lot of people talk about prices, but forget the exchange rate was different then.
W, yeah, the BA Yuuka figure isn't looking too good, I'm going to get it because I'm a fiend but even the artwork it's based on is one of the weakest in BA because some of the earlier characters don't look that good BUT for any Yuuka fans, Max factory has a prototype for another scale that looks awesome, one where she is on a chair. Also funny that you mention her legs because Yuuka's legs are a huge thing in the BA community haha. They are said to weight 100kg!
Also wanted to talk about Karin not having her Bunny Figure shown yet when her clubmates do even when she is one of the most popular. I know her bunny one is announced but maybe she is the last one because one with her default outfit comes out in january and none of the others have one for their default outfits yet? (All of them but Neru's bunny is by max factory)

Male figures usually are 1/8 scale. Most of FGO male scale figures is the typical 1/8. The Altair line is 1/8.

dazai's face is pretty accurate to the harukawa35's (the manga illustrator) style so I adore it, but I have also seen other bungo fans not be into it haha. personally love dazai because he's a fucking freak, so I thought this face came out weirdly great

I only have Meliodas & Elizabeth in the Pop Up Parades, I have the Tsume Ban & King, they’re the same size as the Pop’s, then I have the Freeing Diane.

But I really don't have a bunny collection yet. And I'm not sure if I'm moving into that direction... But I mean maybe I can argue that Alice is a bunny figure, especially when her alter ego Super Bunny exists lol

Now we wait for the inevitable Joshua Kotobukiya Figure to pair up with her (my profile pic is a cosplay of him) for the 20th anniversary next year of the series. I've not collected any Hatsune Miku figures but that Senbonzakura is tempting, although the release date is for 2025 which is quite a long wait. Ah yes Alisa, pretty good one if you like bows and knowing Ques Q they do high quality work.

@@ZuccoFigures Its been a long time coming for Adol, he's definitely deserved a figure for a long time. The 2 guys they've done so far are detailed and affordable.
Dana is one of the best developed female characters in jrpgs imo, I hope they give a her a great pose and a great stomach sculpt. I have their latest Trails figure Fie and she has a surprisingly good stomach for a petite character. (The dangers to my wallet)

I think its just because a lot of them are either PUPs or old figures. Sort of like with Persona 3, though with reload that's changing soon
It’s because most of the characters are male, figures are overwhelmingly female. You’ll rarely get a lot of male characters as figures, maybe 1 if you’re lucky.
Agree with you about the Yuuka figure. I especially dislike her face, she looks lifeless. Its sticks out when compare it with the official art. Thankfully, Max Factory is working on their own scale of her that looks cuter.

I think freeing rereleasing zero two with the red suit and fishnets is kind of scummy because they’ve created a fomo around if you don’t buy the fishnets on first release you are stuck with a bare leg rerelease like they often do and in this case was the white bunny suit. Which in my opinion is the lesser of the two. So people buy it because no one wants to spend ridiculous amounts of money in the aftermarket to have it. Now to do a third rerelease with the better version leaves people feeling like idiots for buying the bare legged version because now the bare leg version isn’t worth anything so they can’t sell them, they could have waited it out not knowing about this and are left to either accept the one they got or buy the fishnet rerelease. Plus it makes buying from freeing worse because now it’s the game of do I buy the first release out of the gate, bank on a possible fishnet rerelease later after a bare legged one, or play the aftermarket game. In the case of Danganronpa kirigiri’s bunny just got a bare legged rerelease (I feel the tights are needed on her) so her price is down but do I bank on a fishnet rerelease down the line- is she even popular enough for it. To me this creates a lot more issues. Bunny recolour with tights is one thing but rereleasing the better version after giving a lesser bare legged release feels like a worse taiga bunny/tiger situation.
I much prefer bare leg bunnies, I think they look much better, I don’t see why people prefer the fishnets so much. So I don’t understand why people say someone feels like an idiot for buying a bare leg.
Yeah I can't help but feel I'd be pretty annoyed at the situation if I were a bunny collector. It's ultimately better in the long run for them to actually rerelease the original figure, but they pretty much conditioned everyone to assume bare legs were the "second chance" versions which doesn't sit right with me

Any idea which company would make a good Alpha Chun Li? The Alpha Chun Li is way overdue for a scale figure, they did release one, but it was one of those super expensive ones, they need a 1/6 or smaller, in a few months I plan on actually hiring an artist to make the artwork, not just for the figure, but cause I also can’t find a good enough Alpha Chun Li to display on a wall scroll🫤🤷🏻♂️
I think it's very unlikely atm considering 6 is out and very popular. The alpha design always gets skipped over which is sad considering how great it is
