Hey! It can get pretty loud. Especially with the app function, you can really edit the presets to max out the volume. You could compete with a piano player, and I'd say a drummer too depending on the style of music. But don't forget you can always just plug it in to an amp if you want to be at gig volume.
I LOVE mine and have a 2nd one on the way. Plugged in, it's a monster or a jazzer either one. Just love it.

Just encase you don't know, the preset knob also rotates to control the volume output. Does that help w/o having a tone control?
