That clip looks awesome. The actors are really good, and the color grade is perfect.
80 pages in a week and I'm here struggling with 4 pages a month. 🤦🏽
Just awesome
keep going I wrote a whole 80 page script in 2 weeks just let it flow and don’t overthink it 🤝🏿💯
Congratulations on this project and thank you for willingness to share. It's all about learning. Something I consider, is not introducing camera movement into some of these scenes. I didn't always do that, but now I ask myself what is the motivation behind the camera movement. If it doesn't help the establish the location as a character then I don't want to do it. If my character's presence is big enough to fill the frame then maybe I let the character's acting fill the frame instead of me manipulating it. Those non-verbals are huge in the edit room. These are tools we pickup as we do these stories, learn what works for you and learn what does not work for you. All in all - Keep creating.
Love this and so true!
And it’s so good!!
where can i watch the full video?
isnt that the actor Dru from power?
Its so nice!!!!
👍🏾👍🏾Brilliant Work, many thanks, Zach, my Brotha!! Much Love.
Thank you!
That's great!
Great video. Studio binder worthy. 😉
What camera did you shoot this with? It looks amazing.
How you balance 24-70 on gimbal? Are you zooming during the shoot? Do you rebalance, or just stress the motors? Which gimbal is that? Rs3 or Rs3 pro?
How do you watch Sway what platform is it available on
It’s not out yet! But when it is… you’ll know 😘
Really looking forward to sway
what 80pages 1 week i have to show this to my team.......
Anyone screamed "Unmotivated camera moves", yet?
One week! 80 pages bro! sheesh, all hands where on deck, small budget? medium budget? ULB?
Pretty much! It was ULB, all hands on deck, passion, passion, PASSION
@@ZachRamelan ...what filmmaking is all about!! Great stuff bro! keep going! writing 3 shorts
You know actors have bodies too? This movie seems to be made entirely out of extreme close-ups and sitting around. No wonder your best scene was a oner with blocking... give the actors something to do... stand up, walk around, getting a dring, answer the door, spill the drink, draw the blinds, open the window, having a bird fly in, sneeze, cough, go to the loo, hit the table... fuck those coverages where you just repeat the actors doing stuff so you get it in camera in an angle you might use in the edit... do you need it or not?
