1987-1988 Atlanta Hawks Had A Wild Ride

During the 80's, the hawks were a team that could never defeat the goliaths of the league. Pistons, Celtics, Knicks, and Bucks always stopped Atlanta from moving forward in the playoffs. However, in the 87-88 season, the hawks were looking to finally overcome that feat. Dominique Wilkins was playing like an MVP, a franchise point guard in Doc Rivers, and other great young defensive pieces to help out. They once again got into the playoffs and almost did the unthinkable.

I am too young, so I am having a hard time imagining a Mike Fratello team being fun to watch since I remember his Cleveland teams in the 90s.
