Great comparison review between the 12 oz. I wish they came with the triple haul. Seems like the 532 ml ramble is a way better deal. It holds more, comes with the triplehaul cap, and cheaper.

It’s literally the same. I wanted my daughter to have the purple to match mine. And didn’t realize it was the same till I went looking for a new purple rambler for my self and seen the hot shot one. Just gonna switch out caps 🙄

And this was after already ordering the pink one the day it released.

I found out the straw cap is basically the same too. Outside of the fact that the straws are precut to be a lot shorter . Then again. If you buy the straw cap which is sold separately should have enough length to make 4 12 oz straws vs the two you get with the “kids bottle”.

newJAKKAcity I can’t believe they literally just made a new label and wrapped it around the hot shot cup. Haha. Atleast they come in more colors lol

This is an older comment, but are you still happy with your water bottle? I was also thinking about a smaller bottle for daily use. My large hydroflask is great for home-office, when it just sits on my desk, but is too bulky to lug around town or to take with me on my commute.

Thanks for the review mate, I wish they made all the straw cap colours available for "slightly older kid" too, I just want a matching colour cap instead of black.... How hard could that be Yeti....

I’ve seen various colors of straw caps for sale on Amazon. I’d be a bit skittish about buying them though. Yeti should definitely expand the color options of their drinkware accessories.

@@newJAKKAcity Yeah, I've seen some on Amazon also, but I like Yeti as a brand and are willing to buy genuine products, here in Australia there's a brand called Frank Green which makes all those fancy colour bottle and caps, couldn't see why Yeti don't choose to expend their line, I just don't want to end up buying a kid's rumbler and just use the cap

I like yeti but idk why a kids cup was needed. It’s 12 Oz and it’s the same price as a 18 Oz rambler. Makes no sense.

Toni Capone I think they try to justify the price hike by using the different tops from the triple haul cap. The problem with that is they sell the triple haul cap sells for $9.99 and the other tops for $12.99 so that only justifies a $3.00 price hike the way I see it.

Does the pink jr leak a lot

I haven’t experienced any leaking so far. I did read a lot of people saying it happened on the Yeti Straw reviews. I do my best to see that my daughter keeps her bottle upright as often as possible. On the occasions where she fails to do so the Kids Bottle has done a good job at keeping her drink in the bottle where it belongs.

Can you use this with hot liquids?

    • @newJAKKAcity

The Hotshot Cap yes. The Straw Cap no. I wouldn’t suggest using the straw cap for anything too hot. The hotshot kid will do just fine with heat though.

    I'd like one of these.

If you can get passed that $30 price point I’m sure you will be very happy with it. My daughter certainly loves the kids cup.
