But there's nobody stronger than Meruem. Thats exactly why Togashi decided this ending for Meruem-sama. Anything else and it would make the entire "Nen" thing a joke, like the dragonball powerLevel or the one piece powerLevel.

And regarding the theme of Loyalty... im not gonna deny that he was Extremely Loyal just like a Royal Guard should be, but his problem was that he (and to some extent Youpi too) wanted to force the King to do his Natural Purpouse (Rule the World) instead of letting him choose his own path. He was even willing to dispose of Youpi and Pitou because they were developing a sense of Honor and Empathy respectively. Pitou was the only RG that was completly willling to let Meruem be whoever he wanted to be and do whatever he wanted to do, and she was going to follow him gladly regardless. That's why she is my favorite of the 3. PD: and it's not like i don't understand Pouf, i know that all of his actions come from a genuine feeling of care and devotion for the King, it's just that i can't stop hating him because it was mainly because of him that Pitou died.
Pitou said Gons powers surpassed the King, So if that is true then it doesn't matter how much more powerful the king became as she said SURPASSED what she knew, we don't know how much stronger the king grew, in comparison to the level she was sensing from Gon.
