Great tour . I had a guy in my church who was in a duck boat in WW II on D Day at Normandy. He said that they got stuck on a sand bar and that it was too deep for them to go ashore. He that the Germans were firing down on them and they were sitting ducks in the water. Thanks for sharingthis tour experience with us. .

This video is one of my all time favorites of yours. It is a really fun tour and I highly recommend it. I went on one in Pittsburgh, PA but it was crowded and noisy and I couldn't hear the tour guide. It was fun but I like to listen to what the tour guide says. I really appreciate you letting us hear the narration. It was very interesting!!!

We did a Duck Boat tour in Branson several years ago. After the terrible tragedy that took place there in 2018, I don't think we will do one again. Enjoyed this one from the safety of my recliner. Looking forward to seeing the aquarium!
Interesting tour and some history added to it, but was not very scenic, kind of to much industrialized , like some tours can be on some riverboats, in the south, like New Orleans , had to turn on the CC captions to understand the boat Captain, nice that Dawn was able to steer the Boat, but our favorite was the Duck Tour in Seattle Washington many years ago where the skipper was in costume, and the tour was filled with interesting music artists singing over the speakers, while we drove along and the water tour of all the houseboats the actors living out there owned, some day you all may want to adventure out there someday 😊👍, then take a cruise to Alaska, that may be something you all may want to TH-cam about 😊👍

Welcome to my home town! ❤ You guys had an excellent tour guide....he packed a lot of history into that short time! I can remember back in the 60's when I was a kid....there was NOTHING along the riverfront. I've watched all of that area be developed over the last 50 years. And this is the first time I've seen it all from the river view....and I must say, it is quite impressive! Glad ya'll enjoyed your day. Hope you'll come back soon! 😉❤

We rode on one of those in Branson, Missouri. After the accident they had, it caused a lot of people to stay away. They used to give you a duck quacker that you were told to blow while going through town. Thanks for sharing.
I'm not sure. They were called duck boats, and they did the same thing. Took us through Branson and then into a big lake there.

This was fun. I have rode the ones in the WI Dells many times. In fact, they even pick you up at your hotel in one. They travel in the water more there and are a bit cheaper. I highly recommend them. Now you need to go to WI! :-) You had a great tour guide, I learned a lot about Chatanooga I didn't know, thank you for sharing. :-)
Here in Seattle in 2015 one of the duck boats collided with some cars on the Fremont bridge, 4 people lost their lives and more than 40 injured. The company was sued for operator error and were found guilty. They are back in business now but with a different owner I believe.
My wife drove one in Branson, and not long after that one of the ducks went down and a lot of them where killed 😞.

These scare me after seeing the tragedy in 2018 in Branson. Seventeen people were killed on one that went out on the lake during a thunderstorm and sank. So sad.😢

Now that was a great little tour. I was last in Chattanooga in 2010. I have a friend there and she was my tour guide as it were. The highlight was visiting an area where a bunch or trains, shopping etc was located. I think it might have been the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. I’d had to look it up. Next time I plan a trip down that way I’ll probably have to try that Duck Tour. It looked like a blast.

I remember going to Chattanooga at age 6 and again in the 90s. We went to battle field. I love history.

That looks so cool we just returned from the Smokies we did our first hike to Rainbow Falls it was a great hike but there hadn't been enough rain for the falls to be flowing but we had a Great time

I was on a duck boat tour in Hot Springs Arkansas once. It was a very neat experience.

Y’all see the movie about ducks? Most don’t know what I’m talking about… then if I say the movie, TH-cam gets onto me like I’m spam or advertising and going against their “rules”.
Anyway, if you want to see a good movie about sucks, I’d highly recommend it. It’s two words )can’t say it) , and based in Louisiana. True story. Hollywood denied it. They did it on their own.
We have duck boats here in Wisconsin Dells you must make it a vacation destination sometime soon !! I reccomend anytime but winter seeing it's an outdoor destination ❤

Will, I doubt that's Donald Duck on that sign holding a rifle and with a cigar in his mouth. I'm sure there's a Disney copyright on Donald Duck and his image can't be used, especially with a rifle and cigar. Disney would not allow that. Unless big bucks was paid to use the image.

We just saw you two in Sevierville Saturday near the Riverview Hotel. We were coming home from our 34th anniversary dinner. Now you’re in Chattanooga!
I loved it when Dawn said gas it. Too funny. Great video. Traveling downtown was fun. I remember going down there when I was young. My first train ride was out of the Chattanooga Train station to Athens Depot. Dad just wanted me to ride the train before they did away with it.

Ive rode on DC ducks it was a blast
We have been to Chattanooga and Rock City and stayed in the Read Hotel. We took the room tour to the haunted room, but never seen or heard anything. Loved the hotel! I highly recommend staying there.

In Wisconsin Dells you can ride the Duck's anytime they even let my 150lb dog 🐕 on and took souvenir pictures I still have them
