Check out this travel guide from Caticlan Airport to Boracay:
Caticlan Airport to Boracay - Fees, Ferry Ride & Transport Rates

Boracay is surely the top beach destination during summer in the Philippines. Summer is considered high season in Boracay (until May) and also the best time to visit the island since the temperature is warm and the atmosphere remains dry. Unfortunately, summer is also coincidentally the blooming season for algae at the famous Boracay White Beach. Other beaches of Boracay like Puka Beach does not have this problem but expect the green algae to be all over the White Beach. Gladly, there will still be portions of the beach with less and very unnoticeable algae (mostly at Station 3 and Station 1).
In this video, we will be traveling from NAIA Terminal 2 in Pasay City, Metro Manila going to Caticlan Airport in Malay, Aklan via Philippines Airlines. When we reach Caticlan Airport, we took the tricycle to Caticlan Jetty Port (you can either ride a van/tricycle). Once we’ve arrived to Caticlan Jetty Port, we took the ferry going to Boracay Jetty Port which took only around 10 minutes. When we got to Boracay Jetty Port, there we’re tricycles/multicabs waiting outside of the port going to Boracay White Beach.
    Fees:
*Tricycle Ride from Caticlan Airport to Caticlan Jetty Port - 150 Pesos per ride
*Ferry Ride, Env Fee and Terminal Fee from Caticlan Jetty Port to Boracay Jetty Port - 350 Pesos Total Fees (as local tourist)
-Environmental Fee - 150 Pesos for local tourist and 300 Pesos for foreign
    -Terminal Fee - 100 Pesos
    -Boat Ticket - 50 Pesos
*Multicab from Boracay Jetty Port to D’Mall/White Beach - 25 Pesos per person (tricycles costs around 150 to 300 per ride)

Shoutout to the Mayor of Boracay and DOT. Do we need another close down of the island to clean it up? Station 2 has become one whole stretech of bars.. Chaotic

P150.00 for locals & P300.00 for foreigners environmental fee?? A big portion should be for a team to clean-up/harvest the algae, where does it go?

Excess growth of algae in water indicates polluted water, which came from all establishment (hotels & restaurants) sewage system that goes directly to the beach!!!! So what's the use of expensive environmental fee (150/head) and take note, million pesos worth per month?!?!?!?!

I find really pitiful and funny at the same time. With the amount of people heckling for a quick buck. The amount of money flowing in the island. The local government should hire people with competitive wages. To clean these things up. No they can't clean them all up but at least try to minimize it.
    What causes algae?
Thick layers of algae, called algal blooms, may form when nutrients (mainly phosphorus and nitrogen) build up in the water in amounts in excess of naturally-occurring nutrients. Fertilizers, pet waste, improperly functioning septic tanks, grass clippings, leaves, and other yard wastes are all sources of nutrients.

Every month of February every year you could expect algae so it is normal .. Those hotel ouwners should contribute to help clean to remove the algaes hotel owners earnings a lot of money from the tourist so i suggest they should contribute to maintain the cleanliness in the seashore and do not give all the responsibilities to the government there .
